Hmmm that, and also specific rules for each firewall. Traitor's Path, Guard (Lion) Dog, and the Temptress. They all seem to be specific rules for Hacking, but worth double-checking.

Put another way - do any clan-specific rules apply to Reinforce? My reading at first is that they don't, but wanted to double check!

The Backdoor can be used to Reinforce. The rest of the rules only apply to hacking attempts.

For the Security event, do the bonuses to social skill rolls due to Social Position still apply?

In the arcade event the Moshi Moshi Super Sunrise, if you raised on the 3 but failed 1 do you get the max or is it just the 100 per successful roll +400 for each successful roll with a raise no matter the amountyou raised... it is kind of confusing.

For example my roll
I raise on all 3 rolls by 2, I missed the 1st try...do I get a total of 200 (100 ×2 successes) or 1800 (2× (100+ [400×2]))or 2200 (2×1100 for calling 2 raises on every roll) or 0 (for falling 1 roll) or 1100 (for calling 2 raises on the 3 rolls)?

Generally...yes. I imagine the character showing up in front of a demo booth and going 'Let me take your network defense system for a totally harmless* run'.

Harmless, still having repercussions on the reputation of the system.

Sorry for missing this question earlier!

The concept of Moshi Moshi Super Sunrise is that each roll has a linked Call Raise to make it high risk and high reward. So if you wish to start calling raises, they should all match (to symbolize matching the rhythm and steps streak). So if you call a raise and you fail on the first or following tries, you don't get any bonuses of that raise.

So if you start rolling and fail your first roll with raises called, it would likely be best to not call raises on the following rolls, as they wouldn't give you any bonuses for "missing the rhythm" streak.

So yes, you would get a total of 200 tickets only.

I've added language for standard hacking attempts that includes an on failure gain.
