[Day 6, Late Afternoon, Closed] Star Crab the Crab Star

[Miya Kisha]

Looking last to Kisha, as she had more to say here, "Your trust is greatly appreciated Miya-san. However, at this rate with all the other dishes being prepared anew I couldn't fathom allowing you to not share in a freshly made meal as well. Though I do not know your tastes perhaps as well..." she lingers, and then soon Kisha too would see recommendations appear on her tablet. Once this was done she would log out of the admin setting and turn this fourth and final tablet over to Umiko. Having already put the recommendations into it earlier for her.

Kisha, responding almost reflexively as the trained courtier she actually is, interprets this as the game of gifting, and says "I really don't want to be any trouble to your staff, Yasuki-sama. They already do so much so well, and under such capable direction."

So much said, she does look at the recommendations that have popped up, and they do look yummy!

And she bows her head to the governor, smiling. "I'm glad you like the work, Yasuki-chiji!"

[Yasuki Umiko]

From Downtown...

Kisha nods. "Even if the answer was unexpected," she says, "it is a good one.

"Real quick, on public transit: I've been told there's going to be some changes for the upcoming festival. Something about collectible transit cards? If it's not prying too much into things, is there anything you can say about that initiative?"

"Oh, Miya-san. Yes, you asked about the Tobiuo transit cards previously? Yes, we're working out a special schedule for the Bon Festival. There's bound to be an increase in service to facilitate traffic. Unfortunately, some parts of Lower Nakahama City are rather narrow, and we're avoiding the issue by not allowing vehicles on the majority of the roads. Transit will be efficient enough that it will be barely an inconvenience for people, that is our hope. We will also be offering a limited edition Tobiuo transit card to commemorate the Bon Festival, available from all machines on that day. It's a small incentive, but it's my hope that this gives people further reason to take our efficient transit service." Umiko smiled hopefully at that prospect.

"I can't unveil the design yet, but we're speaking to our local artists and also volunteer coordinators to finalize that."

"I look forward to seeing them!" Kisha very nearly chirps. "And I'll work to be sure news about them goes out on the Comments, if you think that will be helpful!"

She considers. "You know, I go to a lot of places and a lot of worlds, but the kind of effort you and Yasuki-chiji put into improvement is a refreshing thing to see. The people here are lucky to have the two of you leading them, you know."

[Yasuki Ayame]

"Now, if I recall. Yasuki Ayame-sama," Honoka would login to a special section of the tablet in her hand. Through this admin setting she is able to select a number of items from her menu and add it to any table, and viewable from any tablet. Importantly, she was now doing this to make suggestions from her menu based off her memory of what Ayame's enjoyed dishes were. "As well.. if you enjoyed the crab cakes.." she would say, nibbling on the corner of her lip while she focuses. On the tablet prepared for Kazushi he would see some items enter onto his table. "I believe these are great suggestions."

Ayame smiled at the idea of crab cakes and nodded eagerly. "It doesn't seem right if I could have the crab cakes at Crabkaku. I'll take a few of those. Well, let's keep it to a sample portion of each, so I have a chance of finishing them!" She chuckled.

"I'm also a fan of the fried stuff you had there. Let's get one of those sample platters? Have those for the table," she said with a momentary glance to the others. Surely, she was going to have a bit but they were going to chip in to finish the whole right, right? "A tall glass of beer to go with all of that too. Do you have anything exclusive? I'll take Kinsenka Gold, too."

"Oh! I think I saw a shop by the entrance earlier, too? Let's remember to stop by there after the meal," she would say as a reminder to herself.

[Yasuki Umiko]

Umiko would certainly quietly nod to the suggestions of food put in by Honoka. She found herself internally dreading the platter of fried food that Ayame wanted to the table, taking in a small breath to keep her reservations to herself and find her inner centre...

"I look forward to seeing them!" Kisha very nearly chirps. "And I'll work to be sure news about them goes out on the Comments, if you think that will be helpful!"

I'm aware that we might be considered younger than the average ruling body for a province, but we're tackling that challenge head-on! We just have our parents to thank for exposing us to the work involved at an early age."

"Moto-san is a friend," Kisha replies. "She's the one who told me about the cards to start with, actually. I haven't met the Dragons, though; I may try to look for them and talk with them about it.

"And it's good to have parents who invest so much in their children's futures. I know I've done better than I might because mine saw to my schooling early on." She nods vigorously.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Kazushi nods at the mention of the Dragons.

"Tamori Kanna-san would probably do well on your channel, Miya-san," he opines, "as she's a good mix of high energy and dedication to her causes."

[Yasuki Honoka]

"A tall glass of beer to go with all of that too. Do you have anything exclusive? I'll take Kinsenka Gold, too."

Something she knew readily considering they were one of her father's long time supporters, and that relationship was wholly why it features here.

"And of course the shop, I would be happy to walk you all through it later. There are some very interesting informational booklets in there!"

"Moto-san is a friend," Kisha replies. "She's the one who told me about the cards to start with, actually. I haven't met the Dragons, though; I may try to look for them and talk with them about it.

Adding, quickly to the main conversation, "Oh yes! As Bayushi-san suggests. I must also speak praise to Tamori Kanna. She is a very bright spot of energy. Very proper, and has the most excellently adorable pet dog! Should there be anyone else here in attendance I think you would get along well with it would be her."

[Yasuki Umiko]

"And it's good to have parents who invest so much in their children's futures. I know I've done better than I might because mine saw to my schooling early on." She nods vigorously.

"I'd like to think that's our intention with the local First Market custom. That said, it is only one day, but still a sort of community investment in the local children to do well, so to speak," she nodded fondly to that idea. "And I can agree with everyone's testimony about Tamori Kanna-san, she made a great starting impression with her gift."

I don't know if I would trust in her divinations, however...

"Oh, nice, I'll take that," she said with a grin. "It seems pretty sweet, but I'm sure it'll pair nicely with the fried food."

"Tamori-san, the cute small dragon?" Ayame would interject in the conversation. "Her divination shell gift was nice and interesting. I just wish I had an idea about how to use it, but maybe all the more reason to see her again to have her divine my future!"

Ayame smirked and looked to her sister for a moment to consider making that appointment later.

[Miya Kisha]

"I don't know how I'll manage to meet Tamori-san with her being so sought after!" Kisha interjects.

Belatedly, she realizes that the gift-giving game is not afoot, and so she quietly puts in her order: kamameshi and a lager. It seems to fit what else is going on.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Thinking back on the governor's order, Kazushi nods. "Crab tempura would sit well right now, I think. Is there a good local cider? That would be a good pairing..."
