[D10, LE, Nagisa’s Apartment] Date Night

[Kaiu Nagisa]

Having gotten home, Nagisa made sure to shower first. She smelled like firework powder, bamboo, and sweat. That needed to be changed. So did her clothes. After her shower she slips on just some comfortable light-weight joggers and a t-shirt with what seems to be a band logo, but entirely unfamiliar to most.

Yeah, this is casual. No need to make it uncomfortable. Nagisa moves around her kitchen, grabbing some cups and a bottle from in the fridge. Drinks are nice. Maybe some snacks? Grabbing a bag of norimaki, placing it on the counter with the bottle, she feels somewhat prepared!

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

Ichitaiyo is punctual to the dot, as a little musical knocking announces her.

Opening the door would reveal Ichitaiyo once more. She was wearing black trousers, that climbed and chinched on her waist, accented by a simple steel buckle belt, holding a loosely hanging gently green blouse, with wide flowing arms, accented by a golden chain on her bare collar, a black choker with with a round golden buckle, and a pair of geometrical pendants. All was finished with a box of chocolates, of the really good ones.

"Nagisa-san. Sorry I kept you waiting." she greeted.

Nagisa stands in the doorway, staring. Oh. Did they have two different ideas of casual? Was Nagisa too casual? Ichitaiyo looks so nice and has a gift… The Kaiu’s mind races before she clears her throat to put a stop to that little doom spiral. “Welcome. Umm, come on in.”

With her doorway now free of her body blocking it, the apartment is tidy, despite a few cans sitting on her kitchen counter. Mostly energy drink cans. The living room has a kotatsu, a few shelves with books and a few mechpla displayed. She seems to favor the more standard grunt soldier types of machines from the selection displayed.

And of course there are various photos on display as well. Looks like more family photos.

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"Thank you, Nagisa-san." Ichitaiyo responded with a low bow, her low voice finally taking to smoothness, now that weights and stresses had been taken from her back.

Nagisa maybe could tell from their shared time until now, but Ichitaiyo's eyes were never quiet. They always veered up and down, away and back, to the horizon as she processed, always analyzing, scrutinizing, structuring, archiving and concluding.

But now? They were just on her from the head of height above, gazing with a tender fondness, the only focus on her world. Her usual sly smile widened.

She went in like a drifting soft breeze, just barely grazing Nagisa's arm with her shirt as a knowing touch to direct her gaze, the soft padding telling that despite her clothing choice, she was using comfortable sport shoes. She left the chocolates on the counter, and leant the small of her back on the counter.

"Quite homely and tidy. I like the warmth on this place." she spoke.

There’s something about how relaxed Ichitaiyo is that also puts Nagisa at ease. The slight touch putting a small tinge of red on her cheeks. This is going to be a very nice date, Nagisa can already tell.

“Oh! Thanks. Yeah, just a humble little one bedroom apartment all to myself. One of my neighbors laughs too loud when he invites his buddies over. That’s the only downside to this place.”

Nagisa eyes the chocolates on the counter, head tilting as her eyes move up to Ichitaiyo proper. “Oh, you didn’t need to bring anything. I mean, other than yourself. That’s the most important part of this whole date!”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"If all goes well, he will be the one hearing things from now on." Ichitaiyo responded with complete casualness, as she leant onto the counter, head tilted as she observed the nervous mechanic's reaction.

After seeing the effect, she raised a finger, letting the performance stop for a moment, letting her smile soften for a moment.

"As you well know by now, I adore the teasing, and now that there's a.. thing between us, I want to unrestrain some of my ideas. But I need to know you can tell me to Stop. And I need you to know I will Stop, no matter what. So we can enjoy ourselves with a little game."

"So, tell me you will Stop me if you are uncomfortable."

Oh. That… That escalated. Nagisa can’t help but redden at the implication of the initial tease. Her eyes widen as she stares at Ichitaiyo, it’s easy to see that her overactive imagination might be at work.

Just as she is about to open her mouth, she sees the Kitsuki put up a finger. It was shut up and listen time. Probably for the best, all things considered.

“Y’know… A thing is kind of an understatement, yeah? I like to think of it as something more than just a thing. I very much like you. As far as… The rest. I will be very clear and open with you on my boundaries.”

A surprisingly confident response from someone who was blushing at the innuendo less than a minute ago.

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"I.. don't want to label it until I am well settled back here." Ichitaiyo replied softly and bashful, explaining herself. "Have it as.. the victory wrap. Otherwise you would have to tell the world of a girlfriend that never came back."

[Kaiu Nagisa]

Nagisa moves closer, reaching out to take Ichitaiyo’s hand into her own. She leans in closer, smiling softly, her eyes warm and inviting. “We’ll think of something. Plus… You seem to be quite popular among the Crab now. We want to keep you.”

A pause. “I want to keep you here.”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"I'm pretty sure that the Magistrate quite doesn't like me, but I guess not many people like him." Ichitaiyo offered in smile, gladly letting her arm loose to be held by the mechanic. Those last words stirred that gooey and sweet core of the sharp exterior, and made Ichitaiyo gently grip in return, holding the craftwoman's fingers with her thumb and pull them up, to plant a kiss onto those knuckles.

"The gears in motion. I asked Kanna to move things so her family can request my service. A place for her family's business is almost assured. And if that fails, I have more plans."

The slate gaze crawled up in earnest, in promise.

"I will be here. It'll take time for.. the politicking and the paperwork, but I'll be here. Even if I have to become Ronin."

[Kaiu Nagisa]

A sweet intimate gesture, one that can’t be missed. It brings a flutter to Nagisa’s chest.

“I was right to believe in your ability to be here.” A gentle smile as she watches Ichitaiyo with curious interest. “Perhaps it’s time I should ask for a list of your favorite food and snacks so I can always remain stocked up on them here?”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"I.. guess some ice cream. And some shrimp. I'm not much for eating." she confessed with a smile. "But, coffee is a must."

Maybe her build wasn't because of her chronical sickness, but bad habits.

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“Hmmm… Well, this is a Crab planet, so expect to have some fried food here and there as well.” Nagisa grins wide, though her mind wanders to thinking about kushikatsu, tempura, and karaage.

Now she’s feeling hungry. So Nagisa opens up the bag of the norimaki and offers some to the Kitsuki. “Tomorrow, during the festival, I’m treating you to some street vendor food. That stuff is always the best.”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"Oh, street vendor stuff is one of my beloveds." Ichitaiyo shared as she drifted over to the kitchen counter with the bag and begins as well, cleaning her fingers after every bit of seaweed. "It's usually as much tourism I get to do when I am being sent all around the galaxy, trying the cuisine. Can you imagine I visited Wonders without ever stepping foot on a casino?"

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“Oh, I could believe it. I don’t gamble, so… If I went I would likely avoid them as well. Arcades are cool, though.” Nagisa tilts her head to the side, watching the other woman curiously. “Closest thing to being a tourist for me was when I’d go on shore leave. Would get pretty drunk so not like I remember a whole lot about the places I’ve been.”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"Blackout drunk?" Ichitaiyo chuckled. "Now that's a surprise. Now I imagine having to escort you around the streets, holding you tight so you don't stumble into something dangerous."

She supported her elbow and weight on the counter. "Or worse, we both get carried away, and wake up with clothes that are not ours, in a place we don't know."

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“Not blackout drunk. I do remember stuff during. Uhhh…” There’s a very ashamed look to her, or at the very least embarrassed with the way her face reddened. “There were a few times, I admit, that there may have been some… Kissing involved.”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"Kiss and tell then?" Ichitaiyo requested with a tilt of her head. "I could learn something of your tastes."

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“Oh this is so embarrassing…” Nagisa hides her face in her free hand before letting out a long sigh. “There were two. One was a Toritaka. A scout. The other was a Kuni. I think she was a medic?”

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

Ichitaiyo barked a laugh at the embarrasment.. scooting closer and raising a hand to hold over the wrist of face cover on Nagisa. "Really you don't remember more? How it all began? How they made you feel?"

A little question, a setup before a push.
