Day 10 Yasuki Umiko/Temple of Light Plot and Combat

Hello everyone!

Soooo...the situation at the Temple of Light, Yasuki Umiko, and Yasuki Nagisa has super escalated, and we find ourselves in the climax of that story arc! I'm looking to have this situation resolved with good, old-fashioned, and deadly L5R combat!

I know there are some scenes and plots ongoing, but with hand-waving for the sake of time, I'm fine to involve able-bodied individuals in the combat. Preferably, someone with a connection to the characters involved, but we can say a friend of a friend was called. Some NPCs*** could be potentially called.

*** Yes, I'm aware that with the garrison nearby, we could very realistically call Crab Clan Special Forces, but where's the fun in that?

So, I'm opening the thread here for people to offer their skills and volunteer. A final team of 5 will hopefully step forward by tonight when I get home (in approximately 5-6 hours).

Finally, I'm willing to grant Clue Points in the same manner as I did in Shadows. Every group of investigators (I will have the final say if it is double-dipping) will contribute one point, which can be used as communal Void Points for the combat group. There will be a cap to this.

I can already think of some groups that qualify.

I volunteer! Though I will not be fully available for another 5 hours. Hinata is very much the Scorpion's "Muscle". Harbinger means I can also nerf enemies by spending void so that's a good use for clue points I think!

The greatest blow to Nagisa was not the Hinata/Ochiba double ultra overhead combo, but the fact Ochiba is currently seeing a nice Kaiu gentleman and so is available only for blasting.

Part of me is 'okay, it is very narratively fitting for Ichitaiyo to confront the second narrative arc she has faced while on Nakahama', other part is 'her bony earth 2 ass is gonna get one-shot by a mook'.

I think I will have Ichitaiyo have a Kanna-like position by staying behind lines. Maybe watching the guard or something

Itsuka should be at least half decent in a fight, with SAA and bonuses from Utaku techniques.

She's *not* good at investigating stuff though XD

Kiyoshi isn't soft hearted, but he doesn't have any spells intended for causing damage.

So, he'd mostly be healing and possibly buffing.

He coukd summon an animal spirit, too. But, that doesn't mean it would fight.

Much as I'd like to participate I'm not sure I'll be able to leave ghosting instructions before some 14 hours from now. As I said, will be around much more on Thursday, but that may be too late.
