Koku and Stipends

For this setting, a character's starting wealth is based on and multiplied by their monthly stipend. That being said, characters only have one month's worth of available cash at the start of the game. For example, Kakita Kanemochi's starting equipment includes 10 koku. At the end of each month, his lord will move an additional 10 koku to Kanemochi's household account. Additionally, the Wealth advantage increases a character's monthly stipend instead of their yearly stipend.

All characters, both returning and new, will have their starting funds calculated as follows:

• Total Koku = Monthly Stipend on Character Sheet x 10 Month
