[Kaiu Nagisa]

All morning Nagisa had to get back to work. After having a day off, she was behind on fixing Ochiba’s car as promised. But why did it have to be so warm and humid today? Having discarded her outer layer of her work uniform shirt, Nagisa found herself just in her work pants and under layer tank top in an attempt to not bake herself alive.

Garage door wide open to let in the off chance of a breeze, but also having a fan plugged in and blowing in the direction of the mechanic for an artificial breeze. Anything to free herself from this muggy nightmare.

Also, a few bottles of water in an ice box. Stay hydrated folks.

Ochiba sadly cannot arrive this time by triple parking. Although she would if she could. Instead the Mantis had caught a cab and so simply walked up to the garage door in a sun dress with 'my other ride is a Kaiu' patterned across it.

She knocks politely against the door to announce her arrival, looking around curiously before spotting Nagisa again.

Not bad at all Ishitaiyo, not bad at all. The Mantis nods happily to herself.

Hearing the knock, Nagisa pulls herself from under the car. “Oh. Perfect timing. I was just finishing up on your car.”

It takes a moment to pull herself up to her feet, stretch out, and of course let out a bit of a yawn. “How has your morning been, Ochiba-sama?”

"Pretty good, I was up late last night, in a good way." she grins and winks, looking at the yawn.

The Crab then gently places a hand on the car’s hood. As close to new as she could get it, all things considered.

"Oh no, I was just hoping she might be here." Shrugging slightly. "Ah well, there's no rush."

Ochiba inspects the car, visibly impressed.
"Huh, you would never know we t-boned that asshole. You're a real prodigy Kaiu-san. Definitely a whizz with your hands."
She then of courses knocks on some of the panels with her knuckles to make sure the sound was right.

"Staying busy then? I saw you did pretty well in the rally. Things alright with you over all that...stuff?"

"Oh no, I was just hoping she might be here." Shrugging slightly. "Ah well, there's no rush."

“Ah, thanks for the praise. I really put my all into my craft.” Nagisa moves to grab a drink from her cooler. She offers one of the bottles of water to Ochiba.

“I honestly… Don’t think I have fully processed everything. Kinda still got that fuzzy and unreal kind of feel to it, y’know? The rally was a nice distraction.”

“Ah, thanks for the praise. I really put my all into my craft.” Nagisa moves to grab a drink from her cooler. She offers one of the bottles of water to Ochiba.

She takes the water and unscrews the lid before taking a sip.

"It was pretty fucked is what it was. But, problem sorted, and you kept your head. Lotta samurai wouldn't have."

"And that was all right after you and Kitsuki-san hit it off, right? Must have been cool driving with her. Just the two of you, focusing, the roar of the engine, tight quarters...."

She takes the water and unscrews the lid before taking a sip.

Maybe you could reach out to the Governor? Ayame and I are getting along pretty well. Or do you have a scheme too? Are we all scheming?"
