[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

Suh-Hyun had arrived promptly, remembering the trip here back during their first 'date'. She smiled to herself, 'date' was the right word even if it may not have started that way. She wore a casual outfit, a nice top and a breezy shirt/jacket over it. Maybe the shorts were a bit more daring, not super tight but not loose fit...and ending maybe a hair to fair up her thigh but not enough to really be out of place here.

Pausing at the commons room she spotted a little comms panel and buzzed Akito's room.

"Delivery for Hiruma Akito." She said into it in her best impression of a flat monotone, the sort of voice a bored parcel delivery person would use...

[Hiruma Akito]

There was a brief pause, and then the comm activated.

"Oh, good. I've been wanting that very much." Even through the slightly tinny sound, a bit of playful amusement in Akito's tones could be heard. "I'll buzz you in. I'm just at the end of the hall." The gate buzzed open.

While lower status samurai on Nakahama still rated apartments, these were fairly nice, if uniform, apartments. Well-lit, secure, quiet, and with even a bit of greenery here and there. Suh-hyun had Akito's apartment number, and his light was on at the end of the hall, as promised.

Suh-Hyun was expected, however the 24 pack of beer and a GIANT PLUSHIE SHARK probably were not. Standing at the door, she knocked softly. When the Hiruma opened the door he would find himself face to face with a gapping maw of fabric shark teeth attached to a 5' tall plush. The only sound it made was a snicker.

Then a friendly face poked out from behind the big fish, "Hello Akito-san, I thought you might need a room mate." She also showed off the 24 pack of alcohol from Kinsenka Breweries. "And hope you don't mind sharing."

The door slid open, and Suh-Hyun would be treated to a look of complete befuddlement on Akito's handsome face as he opened the door to the sight of an enormous shark plushie.

As Suh-Hyun popped out, Akito laughed, deep and warm, and heavy enough that he leaned against the door frame. "Okay, wow. I'll admit, I didn't see that one coming. I'm impressed." His eyes were alight as he looked at her. And the shark and the beer, but mostly her.

Smiling, he straightened, stepping out of the way and gesturing with open palm. "Well then, would you both care to join me?" Akito was dressed casually, but just as obviously the sort of casual where he'd spent some time making himself look good. His hair was freshly washed and secured with a single tie, while his blue daywear in the island style was open just enough in front to show that he did not skimp on chest exercises.

"Turns out fighting game master was an untapped skill I possessed." Suh-Hyun made a semi awkward entrance, given the plushie and the beer. She had brought shoes easy to slip on and off thankfully, so at least one balancing act was avoided.

Setting the beer on a countertop, Suh-Hyun stood holding a giant shark and most definitely not admiring the Hiruma's outfit. She was tastefully assessing. "So where do you want him?" She waggled a shark fin in a mock 'hello'. A small chuckle escaped her lips, "He's actually kind of heavy and pretty awkward to hold."

In fact, as Suh-Hyun walked in, Akito was, err, tastefully assessing Suh-Hyun's outfit as well, his gaze growing warmer still. He slid the door shut behind her firmly.

Just as with Akito himself, his apartment had clearly been freshly cleaned. And yet, there was still plenty around to make it clearly his apartment. A few art pieces were on the walls, inks and paintings, and therefore not his. A drum was in the corner. The counter that Suh-Hyun placed the beer upon had a vase with local flowers. And a low table had, of all things, a few Gumbai minis in an early state of painting.

"Oh! That's really..." Akito took a breath, smiling at Suh-Hyun. "That's amazing, Suh-Hyun. I'm touched, truly. Here..." He'd never had a girlfriend get him a giant plushie before; it was a new experience! He took it from her, setting it at the table so that it looked like it was sitting at it. "There, how's that?" He flashed her a grin.

Then he stepped closer, his arms sliding around her. "Now. I want to hear about you being a fighting game master." He made a face. "Why is that hot? I don't care. You can tell me after I kiss you like you deserve to be kissed." His arms tightened around her as he made to put deeds to words.

The sudden movement was a surprise, but not an unwelcoming one. Suh-Hyun blushed a little, "Excited are we Akito-san?" She looked into his eyes and smiled, "Yeah..." Then their lips met, her own arms tightening around him. Given their heights, it might look awkward to an observer. Maybe it was awkward but neither party seemed to mind much.

"Is that cologne?" She chuckled, still holding him in her arms. Reluctantly she let go of him and they parted, "So this is your place huh?" Her gaze traversed the room, her cheeks were red. "Seems nice." Suh-Hyun's eyes settled on one of the art pieces and smiled, "Yours?"

[Hiruma Akito]

"You bet I am." Akito's voice was a throaty growl as they parted, looking up into her eyes. "I've been wanting to do that ever since I saw you burn across that finish line yesterday." The scent he wore was pleasant and mild, a mix of earth and sea scents, very much like him.

"Yeah." He said, taking a breath as they parted, smiling. "It's not much, but I like it. I'll give you a proper tour if you like, although it won't take long."

But that didn't happen, not just yet. Akito gently shook his head at Suh-Hyun's question. "No. But I did promise to show you, didn't I? Hang on... why don't you make yourself comfortable next to my new roommate, and I can show you..."

Akito disappeared behind the counter for a few moments, coming back up with a notebook; real paper, not digital, and clearly both well-used and well-cared for.

Suh-Hyun grinned at the mention of the race, "I can't take all the credit, I was at the wheel but my two teammates played valuable roles keeping us moving." She watched as the Hiruma retrieved his sketchbook, "Honestly I thought we were finished when the Scorpion popped her Nitro, it was an exciting end to a hard run."

The Unicorn took a seat at the table and propped up her head with upheld arm, "I think I'd like that." Her smile turned more lopsided, that sort of look Suh-Hyun seemed to adopt when embarrassed, "I uh didn't really think everything through. Depending on how much we uh partake," Her free hand points to the case, "I might have to umm impose on your hospitality over night. But only if you are alright with that!"

Her eyes settled on the book and curiosity now filled eyes. "Old fashioned...you know that suits you Akito-san." She chuckles, a mirthful sound, and grins, "A romantic."

[Hiruma Akito]

Akito grinned as Suh-Hyun told her little bit of a story. "Gotta say, I was on the edge of my seat myself, at least as much as I could be. Didn't want to let on to my family why I was such a big fan of Team Unicorn." He chuckled at that.

At the mention of hospitality, Akito paused, looking at Suh-Hyun a moment. And then, smiling, he picked up the case, bringing it over to the table. "It's safe to say that I'm alright with that." He said, his tone warm. Reaching into the case, he offered Suh-Hyun one of the beers. "I'd be honored if you'd accept my hospitality, Suh-Hyun-san." The corners of his lips curled up, just a little; he was pretty clearly more than just alright with it.

He settled down next to her, hip warm against hers, laying the book out on the table. Akito laughed softly. "Does it? I guess so. My family always said I spent too much time dreaming as a kid. Carefully, he opened the book.

It was a mixture of sketches and completed works. Sometimes there were a few attempts on a page, shapes attempting to form a satisfying configuration, but seemingly coming to nothing. Sometimes there were abstract shapes, experiments in form and shading. And sometimes...

"Oh, here's one." Akito paused; as they'd looked, his arm had ended up around Suh-Hyun again. "One of the earlier pieces I was happy with." It was a double-page drawing of the ocean seen from a cave on the beach; Suh-Hyun might recognize it as where they'd had their previous date. Akito let her study it, taking a drink.

Suh-Hyun sipped her own drink while he laid out the sketchbook. But once it was fully out she leaned forward, "It's missing something." She mused, then blushed and hid her sudden embarrassment behind, "I mean it's very good...that place means a lot to you." Hesitantly she placed a gentle hand on it, just to feel the texture, as if it would connect her more to the moments preserved on the paper. Suh-Hyun didn't move her hand, afraid that it would smudge the drawing. She pulled her hand back.

"It's very good, how old were you when you made it," She looked at him now, with a sort of curious intensity.

"Mmm..." Akito murmured throatily, smiling. "If it's missing something, we can see about revisiting that later..." He gave her a playful squeeze.

But then his expression turned more thoughtful. "Yeah. It really does. I found it when I was a kid. I'd always go there when I wanted to be alone..." But he'd wanted her to see it.

"Phew..." Akito let out a puff of breath. "Sixteen, probably? Give or take a year. I'd been trying for years before that, but that's when I finally felt like I could do it right, y'know?" He met her gaze, smiling gently.

He let her page through the book, when she was ready. Of special note was a jagged mountain surrounded by streaks of light, and a muscular topless woman viewed from behind.

Suh-Hyun turned her eyes to his, "Thank you for showing me that spot." She leaned over and kissed him, smiling as she leans back. "And yeah, maybe you can sketch it again...see how far you've come and how much it has. I suspect one piece of scenery will have changed."

Turning her attention back to the sketchbook, she paused at the mountains and then the muscular woman's back. To the first she asked, "Is this here or somewhere else?"

To the second she smiled her mischievous little smile, "Oh I see you have practice, do you just like ladies' backsides?" Suh-Hyun looked him in the eye again and leaned close. "Or can you do fronts too?"

Suh-Hyun turned her eyes to his, "Thank you for showing me that spot." She leaned over and kissed him, smiling as she leans back. "And yeah, maybe you can sketch it again...see how far you've come and how much it has. I suspect one piece of scenery will have changed."

Turning her attention back to the sketchbook, she paused at the mountains and then the muscular woman's back. To the first she asked, "Is this here or somewhere else?"

To the second she smiled her mischievous little smile, "Oh I see you have practice, do you just like ladies' backsides?" Suh-Hyun looked him in the eye again and leaned close. "Or can you do fronts too?"

Akito closed his eyes as their lips met. "I like the sound of that." He said.

Tilting his head, he squinted down at the first sketch. "That... is a moon on the edge of Crab space. We were assisting with the construction of ground base. No pressure suits, but I had a tank of oxygen on my back when I drew that." His eyes went distant as he remembered. "There was a constant meteor storm from something that had broken up centuries ago. Made landing hell, but it was beautiful." His fingers gently traced some of the streaks across the paper.

His eyes lit up as Suh-Hyun leaned closer, and Akito took a deep breath. "That's my old Gunso, actually. Could break a man in half-" he chuckled, "-in a fight, I mean. Never tested otherwise. But she posed for me and a few others..."

Setting down his beer, Akito slid his other hand around Suh-Hyun's waist. "And I can do fronts. Would you... like to try? I'd like to..." He smiled, "-and not just because I like your front."

[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

"Oh? What other reason might you have?" Suh-Hyun asked in a teasing tone, "I'd very much like to hear that first before you give it a try."

She didn't lean further in for a second kiss, lingering close, "I remember watching a meteor storm from orbit. Even above it was like watching a cascade of rain." Her smile softened, "I can understand why it would leave an impression strong enough to put to paper."

The mischief returned, "Well I did come to model for you." She leaned past him to whisper, "And not just my great legs..."

[Hiruma Akito]

"From above..." Akito breathed, his eyes going distant again. "I've never seen one from above. Maybe someday, and I could draw that, too."

But then his gaze refocused on Suh-Hyun, who he felt deserved all of his attention. "Fortunes, you're hot..." Akito breathed, his fingers stroking over her back. "From the first time I saw you... damn..."

He took a breath, taking in the scent she wore. "But, this sort of thing, it's another thing we do together. Like when we dance." His lips curled up at the corners. "Or our time at the beach. It's something I want you to experience, if that makes sense."

With a playfully crooked smile, he rose to his feet, offering her his hand. "Shall we, then? I've got it all set up."

[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

Suh-Hyun took his hand and rose, "Someday I hope to show you." She squeezed his hand softly, "Fly you over the most beautiful planet in the Empire and watch the stars fall together." Her smile was warm.

But her playful side soon reasserted itself, "I almost brought my costume." She ran a finger down his chest, "But it takes too long to get on...and off." She smirked at that comment.

"Lead on Akito-san!" Suh-Hyun was still holding his hand, then she started, "Oh! Don't forget the drinks." She snatched her own up with a slight smile. "I got my ass kicked by that bullshit Grappler King Akodo for this beer!"

[Hiruma Akito]

Akito's pale eyes met Suh-Hyun's. "I'd like that very much." He said softly. He really would, too.

But then his eyes heated up as she ran a finger down his chest, saying things that made his blood warm. "Damn..." He growled again. "You're killing me, Suh-Hyun-san..." He couldn't help but brush his lips across her jaw; a good mix of sexy and where he could manage to reach on the taller woman.

"Right." Akito drained his beer, then picked up the case with his free hand, still holding Suh-Hyun's. "Gah, fucking Akodo! I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the Imperial Histories about him having three different chain throws." Still chuckling at their shared experience (losing a fighting game to Akodo's bullshit throws), he led her into the bedroom.

Arranged was right. A little stand with sketching paper was set up just beyond the foot of Akito's bed. The bed itself had fine cream-white sheets laid atop it, clean and soft. Pillows were stacked and angled, suggesting that one might very comfortably lie across it, slightly propped up and at a bit of an angle, putting the (great) legs closer to the perspective of the artist. A bedside table and dresser both had vases with flowers atop them, adding some lovely color to the room.

Slowly, Akito released Suh-Hyun's hand. "Whenever you're ready." He gave her a smile, warm and reassuring.

Suh-Hyun grinned at the Hiruma's response, in her best innocent sounding voice, "Oh Akito-san, you know I wouldn't hurt a crab."

She took a sip of her drink as they walked to the bedroom. Seeing the setup she laughed, "You really went all out Akito-san." Despite her words and laughter, her face was red. Nervousness over the situation perhaps.

It's nothing that she hadn't shown before but there was an odd intimacy that brought forward her natural awkwardness. Still soon she was sitting on the bed in natural attire. Her voice was a mixture of embarrassment and desire, "So how do you want me...I mean um to lay. No I mean..." She let out a breath and let her boldness take hold. "Ah Jigoku, how do you want me sprawled out for this? I'm not an expert on nude modeling!"

[Hiruma Akito]

Akito's smile remained gentle and reassuring. "I always do, Suh-Hyun-san. I wanted to make sure it was all perfect for you." He said. In fact, he'd had some suspicion that this might, in some ways, be even more intimate than what they'd already done. And he wanted her to feel safe...

...

"You're doing great..." Akito murmured softly. Like, Suh-Hyun, there was a mix of emotions in his voice, and in his gaze. There was the obvious desire, as well as the tenderness, the recognition of her vulnerability. All tempered with an artist's eye.

Her question made him laugh softly, a mixture of fondness and... well, he was a bit nervous, too. "I think... here, let me help you." He stepped closer, his strong, confident hands helping to guide her. To lie her on her side, leaning back just a little, propped on her arm, supported by the pillows. There was, perhaps, an extra caress here and there for good measure.

Finally, satisfied (with the blocking, that is), Akito gave her a tender kiss, his hand squeezing hers before going to take up his own position by the paper. "Okay." He said. "You need anything? Or shall we begin?"
