Regarding the Great shark option

The hunter will need to make a Sailing/Agility at TN20 to rush out to open waters, where there is a great likelihood they will be hunted by a Greatshark. On success, they may make an attack skill roll using Firearm/Reflexes or Engineering(Siege)/Intelligence at TN20 or perform a Level 3 spell casting roll. This is done against a Greatshark, and it has less Honour. The attack is done in Attack Stance. If the attack is successful, the hunting party converge and finishes off the Greatshark, albeit with some difficulty. The hunter receives 4 Hunt Points on a successful roll and an additional 1 Hunt Point for each Called Raise.

If the roll fails, the hunter is maulled by the Greatshark for 6k3 Damage before the hunting party quickly retreats. Fail or pass, the hunter may choose to hunt a Greatshark again as one of their three choices or as a tiebreaker (see Outcome below).

Does that include the Sailing roll or just the attack?

One of the upgrades lowers total time by 2 if you pass 3/5 of the skill checks. This allows for a time of 3 if someone goes nuts and uses the unlock void upgrade to reduce all the courses to 1 time unit.

That's less time units than courses, was that the intent?

This has changed now! The race minimum finish is 5 Time Units. No time travelling!

There is no maximum wear on the cars.

Rugged Suspension: A vehicle hold a maximum of 6 Wear Points. The passengers will not suffer any damage in the race. See the stage on Mount Nakahama for relevance.

Sorry, this is to imply there is a maximum with this upgrade but none without.

Just remember, driving and repair take an action to do. While a stage can be reduced to zero, you still took an action to drive, so the very possible minimum to finish the rally is 5 Time Units.

Oh, gosh, another spell question, sorry.

“Path to Inner Peace” has the duration “instantaneous” and a spell effect that isn’t time-limited (you regain normal wound points which exist unless/until you get wounded again). “Drawing the Void” has similar parameters but for Void Points (as long as they’re not over your maximum, these exist for however long you wait to spend them).

Would either of these spells be usable during the Hunt?
