[Day 7 - Mid Afternoon] RP Thread: Beach Oshidama Tournament (Sponsored by Kinsenka Breweries)

[Boogiepop]

The staff at Kinseka Breweries have erected bleachers seating by the tournament area for guests to observe the games. The company has also gone all out in making it obvious that this event was sponsored by Kinsenka Breweries with several flying banners, large informator screens that constantly churn various commercials, and music that is occasionally paused with ad jingles. It does get to the point where it could be considered obnoxious. At the very least, to make up for it, they have several coolers, kegs, and even mini bars surrounding the audience area so that no one is ever without an alcoholic drink!

Mmm!

KINSENKA BREWERIES

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Kazushi may have skipped the Silver Fin filming earlier - far too physical for his preferences - but he wasn't about to miss the oshidama tournament - Hinata was expected to play in it, after all, and he had to cheer on his coworker. The designer has grabbed a prime spot court-side, and is getting settled there with Kurumi at his side as Katsumi gets drinks for the three.

Dressed for the beach with a refreshing Kinseka beer in hand, Taraka spotted the Scorpion designer. Given the saying about Scorpions in sunlight, she was curious what he was wearing for this event.

"Good afternoon, Bayushi-san. A truly nice day to spend at the beach isn't it?" she asked.

[Susumu Sumiko]

Following the unfortunate loss, Sumiko had made her way to a side to get a bottle of water and sit down. Pulling her knees up and resting her head on them as she watched the other competitors and avoiding showing how much that last shot hurt.

[Tamori Kanna]

While Kanna and Honoka hadn't manage to get through the qualifiers, Kanna was in good spirits about it.

"That was so much fun, Yasuki-sama!" she said with great delight to the other half of Team Adorable. "I had never played before, but it seems like a very popular game for many."

The Tamori had opted for a cute summer outfit, even if it was out of season, as it had more modesty than a swimsuit.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Dressed for the beach with a refreshing Kinseka beer in hand, Taraka spotted the Scorpion designer. Given the saying about Scorpions in sunlight, she was curious what he was wearing for this event.

"Good afternoon, Bayushi-san. A truly nice day to spend at the beach isn't it?" she asked.

Kazushi was in semi-formal attire, as always - he wasn't participating, after all, so he had to keep up appearances. This particular suit seems to have a subtle rose motif woven into it, and he's chosen a half-mask to match...



"Indeed it is," he agrees as Taraka approaches. "I'm glad the bad weather seems to be behind us."

[Bayushi Hinata]

Following the unfortunate loss, Sumiko had made her way to a side to get a bottle of water and sit down. Pulling her knees up and resting her head on them as she watched the other competitors and avoiding showing how much that last shot hurt.

The Scorpion was over the moon, having made good showings both in the qualifiers and the obstacle course. He picked up a bottle of water, taking down a few gulps before splashing himself with it over the face. This was, maybe a little too much of a show. As he puts down the bottle he spots the Spider curled up to the side. He looks around, her partner wouldn't be far...

Well. He never could resist tryng to cheer up a pretty girl could he? He slinked away silently. Mask on his face so that, ironically, he could draw less attention as he took a can of cold strawberry soda and snuck up to the Spider.

Spotted on his approach or not, he'll plop himself down beside her, extending the can. He smiles at her without a word. He was still shirtless... probably not all that prepared to console her after all.

If nothing else, he was a sharp dresser.

She chuckled a little bit at the assertion.

"In front of us as well, Bayushi-san. The weather is prone to rapidly shifting here. When you take this as your vacation residence, I'd suggest a healthy stock of umbrellas, and make sure the weatherproofing is in good order for whatever place you pick up. When the rain is coming down, ,you don't want to see it continue through the roof. Prevention is a lot cheaper than repair." she suggested.

He stops to cheer as Hiroki and Hinata score their final point needed to advance, a brief breach of Kazushi's normally refined and dignified exterior.

"Go, go, Yasuki sama!" Senshu cheers for the two sisters. Perhaps a bit more for the elder one.

[Utaku Itsuka]

Between and after their qualifying matches, Itsuka kept just on her Space Hero Pilot Captain Inu Shikoku-ken bikini, mostly close to her teammate - they were waiting for the next rounds, after all.

She did try a can of Kinseka Zero, but otherwise was mostly doing water while observing the other matches.

Well someone had picked up a taste for Crab on the island and not at Crabkaku.

"Indeed, Bayushi-san. stamina is something Crab are well known for. Beyond being tough, the ability to undergo long bouts of physical exertion without stopping is highly valued." she suggested.

Honoka was busy taking in air, fueling her body with that life blood oxygen. Dressed in a Yasuki brand swimsuit with some vibrant glow-silk lining her curves in a appealingly athletic way. Which, admittedly, was something Honoka believed was largely wasted on someone like herself. She was no Yasuki Ayame after all. Nor was she particularly athletic.

"Last I played I was as small as Kaida, I think," she said, chuckling between deeper breaths. That wasn't logistically possible but it was close enough probably.

"Please drop the 'sama'. We're the same age, and equals in most other respects." He removed his mask fully, smiling her way. He was trying to be warm, no way of really determining whether he was doing well.

He shook the can gently in front of her.

"I'll try my best, yes. I hope to win, yes... I'd like to know my audience is enjoying themselves too.."

He scooched a little closer.

"I'm not gonna tell you how to feel. I'd just like to try and help."

[Yoritomo Yakura]

In between matches, Yakura was there, chugging that sweet sweet Kinsenka brew.

"Go Yasuki-samas! Hit them in the face! It's legal, I checked!" She yelled helpfully.

"Ok I am not sure how we qualified there but I am not complaining."

Rather than anything he planned, he'd been matched with a small Lion Courtier and he'd still been outplayed

The wetsuit looks pretty good. I mean once I had my costume measurements down it wasn't crazy to send to a fabricator. Maybe I missed my calling.

"When you're the smallest in most rooms you refer to respectful" Sumiko dipped a head in apology "my apolgoy Hinata-san."

She peered at the can and then shook her head, holding up a bottle of water.

"I'm ok Hinata-san, truly. I don't do a lot of sports related activities and simply needed some time to sit and recover after a few hours of it. I just picked a spot where I could watch the remaining competitors like yourself and Kakita-sama. Thank you though for your kindness."
