Day 6 EA-The streets: Mapping the area (open)

[Moto Shiwahime]

''...allright so...''

Shiwahime was sitting on her bike observing the area with a map of the Harbourfront unfurled before her. Marker in hand she was marking spots and taking some notes

''These place flood more often...and these are the main roads...they close these ones to redirect traffic...''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

Taking pictures was a small woman in Lion colors wearing street wear clothes. She looked like she was focused on her work.

[Moto Shiwahime]

Shiwahime saw the young woman coming near

"Hello lion-sama, any interesting sights?"

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Huh..." The Lion nodded. "I kind of find everything fascinating. The construction of this place to withstand hurricanes and perhaps even tsunami is interesting." She looked at the Unicorn. "I am Ikoma Nonoko... an honor to meet you."

[Moto Shiwahime]

''I am Moto Shiwahime. It's a pleasure.'' the unicorn looked around the streets ''Some locals have confirmed that the rains we've been having this week are common and are sometimes even worse.''

''The city might be build for this but Tenjin town worries me...still they are hardy people there.''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Why do you worry?" The Lion asked. "What dangers lurk there?"

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Precarious living arrangements?'' she wondered if she had used a wrong turn of phrase or something ''Been there often in the last few days. The storms do a lot of damage but they always pick themselves back up''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Resilience... people that are used to these weather conditions must know and build accordingly. It brings a sense of achievement and bring them together." The Ikoma nodded. "Even in hardship people are social and understanding. "

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Many are indeed. It's the strength of a united community I'd think.'' she sight ''So...what brings you to Nakahama Ikoma-san?''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Finding inspiration for a new game. The structures here are different from the Upper city and watching how lower parts live to add realism of a game."

[Moto Shiwahime]

"Oh?" She did seem to have expected the answer "A game designer, Huh? What type of game are you planning for?"

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"I am planning a DLC for Heavenly Torii but I think my next game will be something more action based." She pondered. "The market fluctuates between action and adventures..."

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Oh'' she was not much of a gamer herself ''I don't know that game...why go action? Is it to follow the markets or it's just what you are interested to do next?''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Following the market trends... won't get much sponsoring if I don't diversify." She sighed. "I know I can make a good story for an action game but many players don't care much for that when playing those type of games."

[Moto Shiwahime]

''It's a shame about sponsor. Trends are made when something new breaks old models but you'd never see a corpo even try to take the risks needed for that to happen."

She leaned back on her bike

''What type of games you'd want to make, Ikoma-san?''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Games with rich stories that immerse the player and they want to be a part of that world. That appeals to everyone not just gamers but those who want to take a bit of their time to just relax." She nodded and took a picture of the sky.

[Moto Shiwahime]

''That sounds pretty big. How would you do that?''

[Ikoma Nonoko]

"Not easy but with a good team and some encouragement anything can be done." She looked at the Moto. "I might be a dream but to bring joy and a smile to people's faces is just a nice way to see life."
