Weather Advisory
The merciful cool breeze from yesterday remains throughout the night, but unfortunately intensifies in the morning with occasional gusts of wind. This gives most of the island an almost foreign chill at times, especially to locals and visitors more versed with the province's consistent warmth. Dark, ominous clouds loom overhead with some rumbling thunder heard throughout the day, the jungles are graced with occasional spots of intense rain throughout the day.

This sign of bad weather luckily coincides with the return of many fishing crafts from the sea as they rush back early morning to make it in time for the fish market bid. Many of those fishers would remain on land for the remainder of the day and pray to the Fortunes for better weather.

At night, the night skies illuminate with clashes of lightning, and this is accompanied by a downpour of rain. This is enough to deter people from venturing out in the late evening, all except those devout to Osano-Wo.

Kujira is currently at the first quarter.
Haya is currently at the waxing crescent.

Nari-chan: "I have to say again, I'm sooo excited about this expansion! You can't believe how many decks I've made already. One for everyone in Chikushudo House, at least! Whispers, Spider Clan Territory



The scene opens with a self-held holorecorder pointed directly at a younger Kaito as he is seen strolling the streets of a hive city in the Spider Clan world of Shadows. He is dressed casually, although he makes no effort to hide that he is of the Crab Clan by wearing a navy blue happi-like coat with Crab Clan mons.

Yasuki Kaito: "Eh yo, it's your boy, Yasuki Kaito. Welcome back to Kaito's World! It's day 2 in Whispers and I'm just strolling the streets here at night. Getting all sorts of funny looks. These locals have never seen a Crab before and they don't know nothing yet! I'm about to ruin their day! I'm going to be wylin' here! Hah!"

There was some snickering and laughter in the background as it seemed like he was accompanied by an entourage or travel mates.

Yasuki Kaito: "Hey, hey, watch this."

Kaito picks up a can and tosses it in the direction of some uniform guards. Spider Clan members might recognize them as uniform for heimen-doshin but it might not be so obvious to non-Spider Clan samurai. The guards look rather bewildered at the assault. While they do not attack back, at least immediately, but they do slowly advance on Kaito.

Yasuki Kaito: "Oooooh, shit. I just pissed off some Spider samurai. They're too scared to do shi...RUN!"

Harbourfront

Yasuki Ayame's sports car would drive through the downpour with little actual concern for the rain. While she wasn't so reckless to speed down the drenched streets, the fact that she was out was already a daring call when most of the city had reclused themselves indoors in hopes of riding out Osano-Wo's wrath. Flooding had already begun in many parts of the streets and driving wasn't exempt from danger.

She would find a spot at the Harbourfront's parking lot, where she easily had her choice of spots with the lot being vacated for the late evening. Stepping out of the vehicle, letting the rain pelt her without a care. She would begin a short stroll on the wooden steps of the waterside walkway as she marvelled at the fury on display in the sky. The lightning almost seemed relentless, flashing constantly as if the seas were bombarded. The waves rocked back and forth relentlessly, almost threatening to swallow the city whole

What a sight.

A flash of lightning would reveal another figure on the boardwalk.

Ayame's instincts kicked in when she could feel the presence of someone creeping up behind her. She immediately drew the sidearm and snapped behind her with her weapon at the ready.

The figure was already gone once the rumble of the thunder set in.
