D2LA, Relaxing (Expecting but Open)

[Miya Kisha]

Having washed herself, Kisha repairs to the spa, sitting for a facial and a mani-pedi.

Gotta look good for the cameras, after all.

The day passes are in place, of course, and some will avail themselves thereof...

[Yasuki Honoka]

If there was anything the exceeding busy needed to know, it was the importance of taking time to relieve the built up stress holding in one's body. This was something, despite what some might assume, Honoka actually knew quite well. After all, if she didn't make a frequent visit of the spa to treat herself she might well go mad.

Perhaps that is why when Kisha enters the establishment she is witness to an already present Honoka. Currently resting at the edge of the bath with her head resting back, eyes covered with a warm towel.

Honoka did not seem aware of the newest arrival immediately- but surely it was only a matter of time regardless of what occured next.

[Miya Kisha]

Heading for the bath after her own treatments, Kisha slips in, and she is not nearly graceful enough to avoid disturbing the water, despite her size.

"Oh! My apologies if I splashed you!" she says, quietly but sincerely, as she pops back up. At her height, finding the floor of the bath took a little longer than she had expected. "I didn't expect the bath to be quite so deep!"

[Yasuki Honoka]

Raising her head with with the pacing of a woman midst relaxation, Honoka removes the towel from her eyes and looks around. Finding Kisha she blinks, remembering what was just said.

"Oh. No, I don't think you splashed me, Samurai-sama. Please don't worry yourself," she says, offering a pleasant smile.

[Miya Kisha]

"Well, that's a relief!" Kisha offers, easing back.

"I'm Miya Kisha, by the way," she adds. "I'd expect you've eaten rice by this point in the day..."

She does make sure to lay her arms over the sides of the tub. Slipping again would not be welcome.

[Yasuki Honoka]

"Oh, yes. I know of you, Miya Kisha. We are ever glad to be visited by the Imperial families here on Shiawase," she offers with a polite tub-bow of the head.

"In turn, I am Yasuki Honoka. Senior management at Yasuki Data Inc. following in my great father's footsteps. I also happen to have recently opened a restaurant," she adds on a bit sheepishly. "But that is far from anything to merit a proper note."

"Anyway," she says, certain if she continues she can slip what she considers a blunder under the rug. "As I understand you are the one responsible for a new media outlet with a lot of hopes swelling into it, am I correct? Surely if so, then you must have much opportunity for investment here on our island."

[Miya Kisha]

"Well..." Kisha says. "That's not incorrect, though most of what I find myself doing here is gather content for my channel. I've even got some stuff that will do well as premium content, and this is just my second full day here!"

She fairly chirps with her excitement at the prospects.

"But if you are helping to administer Yasuki Data...then I am terribly sorry to have intruded on you! But I'm curious about the restaurant; everybody has to eat, after all!"

[Yasuki Honoka]

"I didn't come here to work, so I'm hardly being distracted from anything important. But you're curious about my restaurant? It's over in the harbourfront, Crabkaku. You should stop by some time and enjoy what we have on selection. Mostly crab, I admit," she laughs sheepishly.

"However, there are other things on the menu too! We have a nice aquarium for viewing and even some instructional pamphlets to teach you about the crab you're eating and well.. the other crab that are out there as well."

[Miya Kisha]

"Dinner and discussion," Kisha says. "Sounds nice! I may have to try to get out that way; what hours does it run, your restaurant?"

[Yasuki Honoka]

"Opening [MM] we serve until [LE] with the exception of special occasions where a party might book ahead. Of course, the menu itself is structured more around evening meals, there is still some that are offered earlier and I am told that most business' that are open for the majority of the day have more staying power," she says, reporting happily.

[Miya Kisha]

"Well, that all makes sense," Kisha says, nodding.

The bathwater ripples around them as she does.

"What prompted you to venture into life as a restaurateur, if I may ask?"

[Yasuki Honoka]

"Crab are very versatile creatures, worthy of knowing more of. I suppose, also, they are in abundance due to the harbor. Was only natural to make use of the supply nearby, and what better way to respect the creatures we are eating than to learn about them," she says.

[Miya Kisha]

"What's your favorite crab?" Kisha asks. "I mean, what have you found to be the best of them, here?"

[Yasuki Honoka]

"Here? Well, of the local species I am quite fond of the Opal Darter. It is this very small, very agile little crab that excels at evading predators with a quick dash to the side at opportune moments!"

Honoka smiles a touch bashfully. "Watching videos of them in action always seems very impressive. I've even seen a few in person before too!"

[Miya Kisha]

"Ooh! Where do they live?"

Kisha leans forward. Again, the bathwater ripples.

[Yasuki Honoka]

"Opal Darters thrive in the warmer parts of the ocean. Where the large beasts wander, and they will scavenge off the seabed the leftovers of prey left by larger predators."

[Miya Kisha]

"I almost hesitate to ask, but...are they on the menu?

"I mean, if it's a rude question, I'm sorry, and I'll withdraw it, but, well, crab restaurant and all."

[Yasuki Honoka]

"I believe there is one chef that does something experimental with them, but they are not routinely fished due to their size. However, some I have heard wish to try and make some use of them as they are,.on occasion, accidentally caught in the process of catching others."

"I would have to verify to be certain but that diah may well be on the menu, depending on if the catch has come in," she says.

[Miya Kisha]

"Oh, I understand going with what comes up in the catch," Kisha says. "That much is a commonplace on a few worlds, at least. I mean, I can't say I've been to many, but those I have tend that way, when there are fish available. That's not always the case; one world I went to, Anadan, didn't really have...useful marine life."

[Yasuki Honoka]

"What kind of marine life might it have had then? I cannot help but to be curious!"
