[Yoritomo Yakura]

Yakura posed as she took a photo in her cute hiking outfit, standing outside her monster of a car. "Eeeeveryone brought everything? It's pretty hot, but we should be able to make some good time. I drove as far as I could safely."

She glanced back at the giant Moto urban explorer awkwardly parked between two trees. She barely hit any bushes!

"Ready, set hike!"

Sumiko had made sure to dress much lighter for this. She had a jacket in her bag just in case but hiking wasn't kimono attire so instead had dressed lightly to go with comfy trainers.

Getting out of the car she brought a hand up to block the sun as she looked ahead.

"They really built this far out huh."

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Perhaps to some surprise, Bayushi Kazushi and his entourage has decided to join the expedition, despite his earlier concerns about lacking clothing for such a trek. That matter has been rectified, although even wearing an outfit more suited to the great outdoors, he still looks like a model who just stepped right off the runway.



He bows to the two ladies already present, then looks around the area skeptically.

"I thought I'd recalled you saying that you were interested in a trip up here, Susumu-san," he begins, "so I thought I'd provide some company and - if necessary - security."

At the word, Kurumi steps forward to check the area around them, her hand resting on her simple sidearm.

"It's good to see that you're joining us as well, Yoritomo-san. You were interesting and much-needed company last night."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

It had taken some time for Kiyoshi to coax the Detective away from the car. Then, the monkey had begun exploring. So, the pair had trailed behind a little. The Fox was dressed in loose fitting, but sturdy clothing. It was a fairly simple outfit, light green and brown.

"This would be a perfect area for a mystery."

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"Ah, who better to search an abandoned hotel with than the Detective and his esteemed companion!" exclaims Kazushi. "Now this is a proper adventure."

[Yoritomo Yakura]

Yakura's smile straimed at the sight of the monkey and ugh...Fox.

"Okay, group picture minnasama! She put in a couple of captions for the picture, #gamblingforanadventure and#hothotelsquad.

"Off we go! Let's start this way."

She started moving uo, backpack at the ready.

[Susumu Sumiko]

"I thought I'd recalled you saying that you were interested in a trip up here, Susumu-san," he begins, "so I thought I'd provide some company and - if necessary - security."

Sumiko smiled and bowed to the man and his hired guns.

"That's very kind of you Bayushi-sama, and I'm glad I was able to convince you to explore the great unknown! I'm curious what might be here as well, it's a long way out and when left to its own devices nature can be very clever with what it's given."

She paused when she saw the monkey, then the man with the monkey.

"Oh Kitsune-sama, hello again! I thought I had seen you at the gathering yesterday, this will be hopefully less challenging than world of dreams huh?" there was a chuckle, as she turned to catch up with Yakura. The much smaller girl having to walk a little faster to keep up.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"It is good to see you, Susumu-san." He smiled. "Overall, this is already a .much better adventure than what we've experienced before."

The Detective suddenly climbed onto Kiyoshi's shoulder, who began looking around and studying the area.

[Boogiepop]

The drive up the mountain was pleasant at first. Despite there not being a settlement up here, the local government at least made sure that there were adequately maintained roads for both the locals and visitors who wanted to scenic drive from the comforts of Nakahama City to Mount Nakahama itself. They would even see a few hikers along the way to their drive.

However, when it came to driving up to Hotel Nakahama, that proved to be another story. There were a few signs that would warn drivers of unassumed roads, and the roads themselves would begin to get bumpy with a good share of potholes and barely a painted line in the middle. Ever since the hotel shutdown, there wasn't much for anyone to make their way up here, and it seemed the city wanted to discourage visitation. All signage to the hotel was taken down, and it wasn't on any map, although it's hard to hide the hotel when it's viewable from the highway and being up on a mountain. Yakura's drive would bring them as far as a road blocked by several cargo containers, put there by the city itself as a strict unmanned gateway.

Their hike around the containers would bring them up an uphill road. The road itself was walkable, albeit forked with damage, but it was clear the hotel was always meant to be driven to. Eventually, there would be some vague signs to the hotel and the onsen.

"Pe-perf-ect veh-icle for the ro-ad!" Yelled Yakura in between bumps. Very convjncing.

After arrival, she stepped out, her long hair tied in a ponytail. "I guess our drive ends here, let's see what's behind container blockade number one!"

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Kurumi, meanwhile, checks each of the cargo containers, to make sure there aren't any nasty surprises waiting within.

Kazushi takes a wide path around the containers, letting his bodyguard do her job, while Katsumi hangs close behind him, looking like she's starting to have some reservations about this expedition.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"This is what happens when you don't make reservations." Kiyoshi said looking towards the hotel.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"Quick with the quips even without a script," Kazushi notes. "I'm mildly impressed."

[Susumu Sumiko]

There was a small laugh at the comment, the small Spider moving part the blockade and continuing up the path.

"So far so expected. I'm sure something is going to jump out at us though."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Well, in my experience you just need to catch them in a convoluted trap, after a musical montage, and then unmask them." He laughed. "At least, that's what the scripts always said."

[Boogiepop]

The make-shift blockage with the cargo containers seemed to contain no surprises. In fact, they have been either chained or welded shut so that nothing could get inside so easily. While there was a range of dangers and opportunities for people to get hurt in the wilderness, at least the ones who put these here did their due diligence.

Going up the path toward the hotel, they would walk down a lengthy courtyard. Or at least, it would seem like one at first until it was evident by the many metal posts with hollowed sockets and concrete blocks that this was formerly a parking lot of sorts. There would be a metal sign with some reminder regarding leaving pets in the car and one with the rough map, mostly indicating where to go for valet pick up and which direction to drive if the intended destination was Nakahama City.

The parking lot would lead the party to the back of the rear face of the hotel, where a majority of the guests would enter from, while the front face visible from the mountains was likely where all of the luxury suites were situated to provide the best view. The tall building cast a shadow below that made it a bit ominous. There was a lengthy fence that surrounded the building, and several warnings had been put up that the building was in disrepair and full of potential hazards. To some, it might have made the place seem unwelcoming but to others, it was just another attraction.

Kiyoshi looked around, but the fence seemed very secure.
