It had been a busy morning and afternoon with flying down to Nakahama, checking in at the resort and getting all the luggage sorted out, changing into something more suitable to the beachy atmosphere... Igoro nudged her several times afterwards that she was expected to check in at the embassy.

After taking Kaida for a stroll and leaving him in Igoro's care at a nearby park, the small woman finally arrived at the Dragon embassy (having nearly gotten lost a couple of times despite it being a straight line she had to take to get there).

"Hello, good afternoon, beautiful fellow samurai!" she greeted cheerfully to the receptionist, which was met with awkwardness... followed by some paperwork being shoved towards her. "Ughhhhhh..."

The sunny welcome did catch stares and glances by the odd servant, business-minded samurai adverting their gazes and attention from the show of emotion of cheer and emotion. Samurai and servants strode from place to place, from call to call, as the permanently-posted samurai prepared for the collective efforts of the upcoming bidding wars.

One stare remained upon her, and stood from her sitting place, dressed in what seemed a suit, yet decorated with a patch of a flowery green dragon in a patch of white, the emblem of the Kitsuki hanging off her belt, and a mask covering her lower face, looking much like a rebreather, yet, seemed to be made from porcelains rather than rubber and metal.

She spoke with a low and husky voice, yet it was gentle in intonation despite the sharp edges surrounding the woman's appearance.

"Oh... Oh, I love your outfit," Kanna was taken with the Kitsuki's clothing of choice, before she spaced out for a few seconds as she realised the woman had spoken to her. "Uh, yes, please! I'm Tamori Kanna," she said, bowing, "I'm here on invitation of the governor for the meeting-thingy, about business-stuff."

She waved the papers she had been handed by the receptionist. "... And I have to fill these in, but I don't really know where to start..."

The Kitsuki was taken aback by the freely given compliment, perceptible through the short hesitation and gap of her mouth as the silent doubt as to whether acknowledging it with a thanks or filing it for later lingered for a second.

"Thank you, Tamori-sama." she granted first, before her eyes drifted to the same paperwork she had filed an hour ago.

There was no question whether Kanna was on her station or above, Ichitaiyo knew very well she stood at the bottom among the Dragon.

She couldn't but avoid thinking like her school had taught to, observing and drawing conclusions. Young, bereft of wear on her face, ignorant of bureaucracy, it stood to reason there was a level of sheltering to the realities Kanna had taken. Ichitaiyo pulled a pen from her belt, and took the slates to herself.

There were the small details to note. The lack of weaponry, but a small satchel with faint but noticeable religious texts worked into the surface, the signs of a shugenja as it was a common way to store holoslates or old-fashioned scrolls. Well-groomed, and good quality clothes that spoke of that understated signs of a rich person.

"I am Kitsune Ichitaiyo, corporate adjutant for Swiftslates Corporation." She introduced herself, unable to hold back from smiling gently, as the speaker of the elements laid a warmth orange tint on the gray slate, like a sunset over the concrete buildings, giving life to the inert.

Ichitaiyo was an unknown, a nobody, disposable, yet, the knowledge of the undesirables of the clan was common enough.

"Oh right," she rummaged in her bag, finding the official travel papers someone had given her at the starport. Which had actually been approved already back on Dragon's Eye, and had just been stamped at the starport here to make everything neat and official.

"At least someone speaks the language, because I don't," Kanna admitted with a grin. "As for activities, hm, what does that mean? Like business or pleasure? Because it's technically business, but I wanna have fun too. Is that wrong?" she sounded a little uncertain if it was possible to be there for both things at once. What did business-people actually do?

"Paperwork." Ichitaiyo responded all too dryly, before shooting a knowing smirk before diving down onto the form filling. Her eyes were deft and fast working in unison, mind finding data, and matching the facts on the declarations.

"Really, the paperwork is just a 'backing' so our actions are done in name of the company. As what do we do.. well, what we are told to. There's a few 'roles' though, like the 'hatchetman', the one who has to make the tough calls like firing thousands or closing plants, there's the people persons, who go rub elbows to get some deals."

The paper slowly was being classified in done, in process and so on, forming a quick system.

"And.. you could say I am a Fixer. I get things done. Flexibly."

There was a tinge of sourness to her voice, not very visible, but not really concealed.

My family owns that and I like represent them and talk about the place, and the products you can buy there."

It's very important to rejuvenate and take care of ourselves so that we may give it our 1000 percent for the Dragon!"

Ichitaiyo was a deer on headlights for a good couple seconds, an orange drop of ink dropping onto her chest, the feeling of warmth so alien for so long, blossoming and turning to sun.

The fixer gently stood from her seat and bowed the full ninety degrees towards the influencer, formal and old-fashioned, pushing her respect forwards.
