A familiar sight on the seas of Green Carp, the Azure Dragon has been a luxury yacht which sailed through many cruises. Unfortunately, rising costs of maintenance led to the neglect of the majestic vessel, until two years ago, when Yoritomo Yakura was gifted the Dragon from her Yasuki grandfather. She renovated and renewed everything, including the ship’s purpose, it now hosts a gambling hall. The unusual decision was met with approval with some conditions, including an additional tithe to the Yasuki matching that of her grandfather’s. The Dragon as it is known among the local populace (alongside Azure Koku Eater and Daikoku’s Magnificent Bitch) is open but can be visited for a fee, a fee that the player gets in credit and therefore, can even be free if they are lucky. The fee is steep enough that most heimin and ji-samurai can’t meet it, but otherwise there is no barrier.

Besides this, there are exclusive events held catering to elite guests and clientele, but these are rarer events. The ship also hosts a bar and a restaurant, the fare is a mix of local specialties and Mantis exotics. Similarly the staff is a mix of local heimin and ronin, some more experienced heimin shipped from Mantis territories, and a rare couple of Yasuki samurai representing Yasuki interests. Chief among them is Yakura’s cousin twice removed, Yasuki Yuki, who represents the Governor’s interest in the Mantis venture.

The ship’s layout is quite familiar and old school, to be frank. The deck of the ship contains a luxury swimming pool, however, it is usually off-limits except for special occasions. There is a main hall, which hosts the actual gambling parlour and is qutie spacious. This area also hosts a bar and a restaurant, usually the fare is half and half between local and offworlder (mainly Mantis) stock, however, if you know the right words, you might be able to get something even more exotic. Besides that, there are some guest rooms that are not for free booking, and then the mundane parts of the boat: engineering, offices, sleeping arrangements for crew. And of course, the kitchens.

The ship has a few different games available:
A few tables to play card games, typically hanafuda games, and Winds and Fortunes
A number of pachinko games were imported from Mantis territories, and are quite popular among the younger audiences
A couple of roulette tables, with associated altars to Daikoku so the players can pray for their luck.
There are rumors of illegal crabfighting in the backrooms, though how to access it, no one knows.
