“It’s like being a soldier in a war. And we don’t kill anyone who isn’t fighting? I mean, it’s about what we can get for the clan, and the warnings we send. It’s not mean but it’s definitely not nice either.”

Ochiba is very open about one subject, a, in her words 'absolute baddie' with a 'super model body' who 'tastes nice'. There's a long story about how she is (apparently) doing pretty well in hitting on her. It's clearly affectionate, the Mantis crushing hard.

The second subject, a, in Ochiba's words 'baddie too, but a baddie daddy' with a 'big brain' and 'these kind sad eyes...and like freaking cheese-grater abs' she is more circumspect about. That one sounds less like a crush and more like genuine affection, although there's also some confusion on the Mantis' part as that's a bit unusual for her.

Like, all this really complex science stuff? And he does charity work, and do nerdy stuff."

"I don't think I've ever dressed up as a loofah..." she had done some cosplay show off, but never as a loofah. Was there any anime that had a loofah, perhaps?

Kaida, hearing his name, wiggles on his back in his bed, opening his mouth with excitement.

"Ah, it's just Follow Kanna, but the videos are only in Dragon space." Clans weren't the biggest sharers of social media unless it was super-popular or Imperial-sanctioned. "Would be fun if I could be like Miya Kisha-sama and do it here too, but I think that is something more to consider if we manage to secure some contracts with the Crab."
