Two--no, three--things, please:

1. For the D9 starlog, viewtopic.php?t=207&start=13
2. When would be a good time D9 to meet with the governor and/or the karo regarding an idea for Bon Festival? There's some stuff as will need permissions, etc.
3. Are y'all still having a good time? What can we do to make it a better one for y'all? It's been one hell of a game so far!

3) Yes! Just continue to be awesome and show patience! I am happy that I've been able to GM a game while juggling work (when I shoudn't be posting, TBH...) with routine errands, RL and etc. This is all thanks to my co-GM Hatoful GM, but also because of the players! Thank you all for being understanding and wonderful!

Related to #2, I'm looking at mid-morning...in what location should I start the thread? I was thinking the Estate, but I don't know if The Honorable Umiko has a preferred place of business.

If you don't have time for it, that's fine. After his visit to the temple, Kiyoshi legitimately wants to organize some sort of benefit concert for farmers and businesses impacted by the flooding. However, he doesn't really want to do it in cooperation with the temple. Instead, he'd like to see if the Crab leadership would be interested. However, after the rumors of Umiko visiting the temple and their conversation at the convention, Kiyoshi is curious about her connection to the Temple.

There is!

Is there a city/planet-wide social media platform that everyone can use to some extent? Something like instagram, twitter or something like that?

Yes. With the way the net works in the setting, there isn't quite an 'Empire Wide Net', it's mostly contained to the Clan (so they can better control information and content). Imperial and allied affiliates' exceptions apply, of course.

But you're asking about the city and planet-wide, so yes. Fishbook, Instaguppy, and (Fish)Line (not super official names, don't @ me).

Just know that the connection is local Crab-based. Social networks outside of Clan, potentially some faint connection to ally Clan, are practically not very available. Imperials might have that sway.

So one question on this:

Finally, any Clan or party may use 30 Bid Points for one lease on Shiawase Island. This will allow either an existing Gentry business/unique holding to open up a branch on the island and expand their operations as a chain or open a new business opportunity in hopes of taking part in the Tango Province's future economic prosperity. For reference, this will be equivalent to 12-point Gentry Unique Holding, if the Clan member or party in question does not own a Gentry themselves. If they already own a Gentry Unique Holding, they will be upgraded to an 18-point Gentry Unique Holding instead.

Can this be done during game, or is it more of a post-game thing? I assume the latter, but not fully clear.

This can be awarded during the game, yes. However, it's not like the store or the brand immediately goes international overnight. The effects will be finalized post-game, but if you wish to spend the points now, you can have a contract in hand.

Since factions may well hit 60 bid points but not really be in the competition for first or second place, is the intention that a faction can get a maximum of 1 Gentry from accumulated bid points total, or 1 per full 30 points spent? It seems like the latter gives more players something to play for while avoiding politicking for "otherwise wasted points."

The Tango Province is going to look really funky by the end of this Bid Initiative.

That said, there is more than just Shiawase Island in the Tango Province. Some mentioned is Gakko Island (where Yasuki Kaito is from and where the Radiant Scales Yasuki Courtier Dojo is located) and Kai Island (known for their bivalves industry).
