She peered at the can and then shook her head, holding up a bottle of water.

"I'm ok Hinata-san, truly. I don't do a lot of sports related activities and simply needed some time to sit and recover after a few hours of it. I just picked a spot where I could watch the remaining competitors like yourself and Kakita-sama. Thank you though for your kindness."

"I understand. Sometimes I do it too, just smile, nod and be overtly respectful. Then again most times when I'm on duty they won't even look me in the eyes." He scooched closer yet as he left the can in front of her embedded in the sand.

"I'll have to ask that you take it. Iam not a big fan of artificial strawberry. I was hoping you'd like it better than I would." He let out a soft chuckle. Eyes never leave her form, all of his attention seems to be directed at the Spider.

"I'm not pushing the topic any further. We're both plenty old enough to know not to pry into matters people want us out of... But I hear everything's s little better with some company. If you'll let me, can I stay here with you till my next match?" More warm smiles, an expression softer than what she'd seen prior times.

"That was fun!" she says. "I don't know that I'll be doing it again anytime soon, but it was fun!"

She bows to the towering Moto woman. "Thank you for joining me!" she says.

Seeing a vendor hawking beers, she'll flag her over. "Let me get a sour, please," she says. "What'll you have, Moto-san?"

"Wait, a lizard?" she says. "I've heard about the big birds, the big sharks, and now big lizards? There's just all kinds of stuff here, isn't there?"

Now she pops the top on her Lemon ULTIMATE Sour and takes a drink.

''Yeah, huge thing. Barely slightly smaller then a cow with spikes all over. Some kind of volcano dweller that attacked the onsen. T'was a massacre until we joined in. The Yoritomo called dibs on the head and I got the hide..''

"I just don't think I can do a zero-point beer," she says. "I mean, I can see how some people would, but I don't think it's for me.

"Anyway, I'm glad you came out okay against the lizard and all," the Miya continues. "I didn't realize Tango was still so dangerous. I'll have to make sure I have my gun when we go riding, I suppose.

"Unless you think going hunting might be better? It's been a while, and I'm rusty, but I've done it before."

Honoka was busy taking in air, fueling her body with that life blood oxygen. Dressed in a Yasuki brand swimsuit with some vibrant glow-silk lining her curves in a appealingly athletic way. Which, admittedly, was something Honoka believed was largely wasted on someone like herself. She was no Yasuki Ayame after all. Nor was she particularly athletic.

"Last I played I was as small as Kaida, I think," she said, chuckling between deeper breaths. That wasn't logistically possible but it was close enough probably.

"But Kaida is so small!" It was true, he was rather tiny, and Kanna giggled mirthfully at the idea of Honoka being as small as Kaida. "Thank you again for teaming up with me though - I wasn't sure if anyone wanted to since I'm not exactly a skilled player at this game, but I'm very happy you wanted to."

When she saw the glow-silk effect on Honoka's swimsuit, the Dragon woman gasped in surprise and delight. "Ah your swimsuit it so pretty; it glows!"

"That's a relief," Kisha says. "I might check up on them a bit, but I hunted similar stuff back home. They cook up nicely, too, in a variety of recipes. So that much is good."

She frowns.

"Now I want poultry. You think they have any chicken-on-a-stick?"

Honoka has to look down at herself to review what she was actually wearing. Her brow furrowing a little bit, then the slight wash of another emotion on her expression.. perhaps embarrassment? Why ever for, one might wonder. Finding a nearby towel she takes it to her face for a couple dabs to make sure she doesn't have any sweat marring her appearance. Then, finally, nods to Kanna.

"Oh yes! Well, most outfits where I shop incorporate this. I rarely shop for things so.." she looks down, the right thing to say would be modern but, "fashionable. So, I tend to make my purchases from Yasuki dealers. Thank you for noticing," she smiles pleasantly and gives a slight bow. "As well, I should thank you for being my partner today! I do not often get the chance to engage in such.. well, physical activities but it was quite fun! You are an excellent partner, Tamori-san."

Note, for our audience at home. It wasn't just the fact that she shops Yasuki that makes half of every outfit in the shop incorporate glowsilk. What Honoka is very aware of, but is trying not to be, is that she shops at excessively expensive stores and does not pay too much mind to what she is purchasing.

The shisha stands up, for what little it matters, and looks around. Seeing another vendor hawking wares, she waves her over, asks for chicken-on-a-stick. What she receives is more satay than yakitori, but it is chicken, she's pretty sure. That it tastes pretty good, she is definitely sure.

"I'm going to have to start working out," she says a few bites into the snack. "This place will make me fat. Then people would use me as an oshidama ball."
