He glances over to Yakura to see if she'll take the bait.

When the (ugh) Dogcat (Fox, I guess...) (/ugh) was invited, Yakura did not spare the stink eye. AT least for a second, before she put on her perfect waitress smile and begrudingly gestured towards the tray of drinks. "Care for one?" The Mantis patriot inside of her was seething.

"Not much of a gambler, I'm afraid," a smile finally appearing on his face for the first time since the governor's gathering. "I get enough of that in my day job. I am always looking for new scenes, though - fashionable places to see and be seen, you know..."

The dance had been OK enough for Ki-kun to recognise which one it was and he instinctively dropped into the matching moves, although the ever present threat of sudden Dragon fire was obviously still on his mind.

Kanna got a little bit closer so that she could whisper very loudly, even holding her right hand near her mouth to kind of disguise that she was whispering, but it was pretty obvious to anyone looking what she was doing.

He left the questioning gap, after all he didn't want to draw attention to the fact she hadn't introduced herself . . . but he did anyway.

OK definitely a Tamori. Mental note to keep flammable things a proper distance away from her. Including flammable Crane Idol Singers.

"Oh, that's Ochiba of the Yoritomo. She's like... super-cool and awesome!" Then she pointed to the pale-looking Dragon, "and that's Ichitayo of the Kitsuki. She is also my friend and is super-nice and helpful!"

She didn't know who the others were. "... Ki-kun, do you know the others? Or are they our unknown rivals?!"

Kazushi is momentarily distracted from his conversation, giving a slightly annoyed look to the squeaky Dragon.

It was probably another metaphor! So Kanna forgot all about what he said and just launched herself into dancing, sometimes trying to copy the moves of the Usagi Drop!-performer, and sometimes just grooving to the music she thought she heard. Mostly off-beat.

KI-kun just let the music take him for a while. "In the moment" Yu-kun called it. No choreography, just moving as the music dictated.
