Shiwahime got a long gulp of her coffee while was was thinking

''Mmh...bar and hotel'' she muttered ''Racing is kinda a party vibe...people will want to eat, drink and continue the party. If they drink too much or for too long they might want to stay the night.''

she drums her fingers on her cup

''Some established locales might be interested or we consolidate and plan for our own? Anyway a aerial survey of the coast would be a damn good start''

[Utaku Itsuka]

"That's not hard to arrange", she says, reaching for a cup to grab some coffee herself. "Party vibe..." she looks into the cup, seems to let out a sigh.

Was that disgust? Maybe she saw racing as too serious to mix with parties? Or... could that be nostalgia?

"The hospitality industry in Shiawase Island ain't bad. Some of it could do with a facelift, but... I could see the owners becoming interested if we convince them that racing will attract visitors."

"Ground vehicles... Moto-san might be more knowledgeable in that regard? Speed through land, sea and sky doesn't sound bad though."

[Moto Shiwahime]

"I do like a good race, bike or car...I'll see the what's what on that."

She fiddled with her mug, something on her mind

"The problem is space. Street racing is fun but constables and résidents usually don't like it. A race track proper would take a lot of space. The sea...on the other hand is vast and you could change the layout if the track by changing the boeys and the obstacle around...and you could use the space for water sports when races aren't scheduled."

[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

Suh-Hyun laughed, "What serious about the aerial race? I was more joking, that's even more difficult to set up and find racers then boats or cars."

Her eyes flicked back to the Utaku, "It might also be an idea to provide some sort of safe and child friendly race. Lower speed cars on a smaller track? Enough to let them get a feel but not injure themselves."

She nods at the Moto, then seems to ponder the Shinjo's words for a moment, apparently even more downcast than before for a moment, but a flame flickers in her eyes again after a while.

"A child-friendly race could be interesting... but won't they need something to look forward to? Street racing might brew trouble, but if we can get official buy-in it means less construction, using existing roads. Wouldn't discount it."

She then looks outside, again towards the harbour. "Buoys are easy enough to set up - it's more a matter of getting permission. Maybe we can try to set up something small, see if that attracts attention. Now, an aerial race..." the flicker in her eyes lights up to a flame for a moment, which she tries to keep in check with limited success.

"It doesn't have to be that hard to set up. Buoys with poles and flags over water, a couple poles over land as a reminder of the course, a few predefined manoeuvres. I could see it happen. Maybe time trials instead of direct competition, less dangerous. Although if we can get one direct face-off to happen...?" She looks straight into the Shinjo. Is she trying to suggest something?

"It could draw some attention, I assume."

[Moto Shiwahime]

Shiwahime's head tilted slowly then snapped her fingers

''Go-karts'' she said ''Small cars for kids, teens and adults. Can race outside or inside...still need space but not as much as a a real one...A warehouse can serve...multilevel possible...we could even convert part of the building as a dancefloor or club!''

[Utaku Itsuka]

Itsuka seems thoughtful. "That... could work, I suppose? Not my favourite, I guess, but it could."

She looks to the others. "Seems like there are quite a few ideas. Maybe we could go around and test the waters for support? We should need official clearance for any of those, as well. Support and buy-in might make that easier."

She looks outside again, drinks the last of her coffee.

"What do you say we see where we get and talk this over again in a few days? Here, back at the Whenever, whatever you prefer. Even just through comms, depending. Here's mine" She gets hers from her pocket, gets it ready to exchange contacts.

''Sounds good'' she got her handmade card out as well

[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

"Seems we have a start then," Suh-Hyun pulled out her own Communicator and released both her official and private contact...the private one being 'teamshinjoblastingoff123!!'

"So a meeting in 2-3 days time?"

"2-3 days time, then. Do ring if you need me!", she says as she types in their contacts (not without a small grin while typing in one of them)
