[Day 2 - Early Afternoon] My First Market (RP Thread)

"I guess we are quite similar in that regard, for different reasons maybe. But Iam glad to see less villainous Spider action figures..." He procured the little ninja, shaking it as he showed Sumi to make a point. "And more Scorpions again. Your clan should probably stop muscling in on our territory." He chuckled, smiling all the while, even if the curve of his lips had taken on a subtly different appeal.

"I hope to meet many people in my career, whether it is in Scorpion or other clan's worlds. Plenty of mistakes to make on plenty places with plenty of different people." He removes the straw from his mouth, leaning into a wall as she winks at him,. "You're certainly exceptional Sumiko-chan. I don't think I'll every dispute that. I should get back to my little ward, make sure she doesn't drag me by the ear back to the stall. Before I go though..."

He leans in once again, yet he doesn't stop, closer, closer until his cologne is once again on her senses. His hand reaches out... and lifts her boba up, her straw against his lips as he takes a quick sip of her drink. Pulling away with an audible 'Ahh'

"Refreshing. Good choice Sumiko-chan. See you around neh?" He turned around to leave, wearing that same distracting smile he always wore.

"Good luck Hinata-san, if you escape we can meet up for drinks another time seeing as you owe me one now" she gave him a small wave and then a bow.

The man gave her a curt bow and waved off as he left. "I'll take you up on that offer. I might not have an escape plan next time. You better be ready to see me cornered." He winks at her before finally turning away completely.

'She's cute' He thinks to himself. 'A little congeniality can't hurt right?'

There was a grin but no other comment as the tiny Spider slipped away from the markets. Her job was done.

"Only the planets within the Dragon borders. Not all of them either, but most! I really like this one though... Green Carp is very nice, and I like the vibe of the kami here!"

She considered Suh-Hyun's suggestion. "There's an airplane service here... Itsuka Dokomademo? I heard good things about it. Maybe we should check it out sometime?"

"Yes! Run by my clan mate Utaku Itsuka," Suh-Hyun grinned at that, "She'd be a great pilot if you want to get an aerial tour. I rode with her the other day. First time in a float plane."

She ponders for a moment, "Maybe I have been to more worlds after all, as I have been to most Unicorn worlds. At least our core ones. Technically one is an asteroid."

Ichitaiyo chuckled again and patted the woman's back, signaling that she was off the hook and back to their honesty. "Alright, alright.."

"So, what do you practice in your free time?"

"Free time?" Kotori inclined her head to the side ever so slightly. "I don't have much in the way of free time. Between working for the network and building my own business I don't seem to have much time to practice anything."

Kotori takes her sorbet, and pauses long enough to look Ichitaiyo up and down. Dance? An unexpected answer to say the least. She thought she might discern the dancer in Ichitaiyo with a good once over, but even still it was out of place in her mind.

To not care for a night about being samurai, our duties and expectation, to be among the heimin as a nobody. Helps that I travel too much, so nobody truly gets to recognize me despite, you know."

She gave her porcelain rebreather a couple taps.

And Ichitaiyo pulled away her rebreather revealing a... completely normal lower face, with a chin and jawline that could be better described as 'handsome' over 'beautiful'. And with that, took the first bite of her sorbet.

"Ah. I... see." For some reason she'd expected that moment to be a little more dramatic. Taking a moment she slips a spoonful of sorbet beneath her veil. She certainly understood the whole cloak and dagger thing, but sometimes it was so inconvenient. "I'll... think about it."

Ichitaiyo smirked gently upon noticing the gentle disappointment. "You expected fangs or a crooked scar of a mouth? My rebreather is purely medical, as pretty as it is."

A few moments passed as Kotori looked Ichitaiyo.

"Someone did it on purpose?" She inclined her head to the side curiously.

"I- Ah-" And Ichitaiyo had been put on the very awkward position of having to actively lie or to openly tell somebody somebody that they had once been a target of an assassination attempt. She left her mouth gaped open for a moment before rationalizing- Well, Soshi asked for it.

"Yes. Survived, but with lingering effects is all." No need to give herself a batto-man backstory right away as well. "I wasn't the main target anyhow. I guess they would have finished the job at some point years ago, I haven't been hiding or anything really."
