Further inland, between both Mount Nakahama and Mount Jinsei, is a vast jungle of unchecked wilderness that makes up the heart of Shiawase Island. The jungles offer a perfect snapshot of the Green Carp, thick with all manner of flora that has yet to be fully explored and undiscovered potential. The microclimate of the island facilitates a heavily humid portion of the island with common showers that maintain the overgrown vegetative space.
Civilization has no domain here, and no attempts have been made to tame it. Most paved roads have been constructed to traverse around the untamed wilderness, but there are a small number of unpaved dirt paths and trails that exist. The occasional outpost exists, but all territory here truly belongs to the wild. It's highly recommended not to venture into the jungle without a good reason and a guide, even though most locals do not typically have good reasons to go this far.
