[D2, LA] Help Me!

[Tamori Kanna]

"I told you it was a bad idea," Igoro said.
"I know..." Kanna pouted.
"We're lucky these scooters can't go that fast," Igoro sighed.
"I know..." Kanna continued to pout, petting Kaida's head.

Igoro took a deep breath and knew that there wasn't any point in talking about all the things that had led to the Kanna's small collision with her scooter. And he knew she didn't really care about not getting the deposit back later for the rental since it was just money in the end to her.

"It's going to be alright though," he said, and Kanna lit up.
"Really?"
"Well, I think so. It's just a busted light."

And so it was that a small Dragon carrying her even smaller dog arrived at the Auto Repair, along with Igoro who was handling the very lightly busted scooter. One of it's front-lights had been broken, and there were a few scratches on the paint around the area.

"Hellooo?" Kanna announced as they stopped outside the shop. She had never been to a place like this!

[Kaiu Nagisa]

Going over the books is not exactly Nagisa’s favorite part of running her business, but when business is a little slow she felt it was best to use that time to make sure all her purchases and whatnot were in order.

Of course Nagisa welcomes any and all distractions from this part of her work. So, she jumps out of her roller chair, causing it to roll back at impressively speed and smacking into the wall. No dents, thankfully. Not that Nagisa really looked, as she quickly pokes her head out the front door.

“Welcome to Tetsuo Auto Repair,” stepping through the door, Nagisa offers a small bow. “What can I do to assist you today?”

[Tamori Kanna]

"Hello!" the word was now said in greeting rather than questioning. Holding Kaida in her arms, who was squirming with excitement to see a new human, Kanna bowed.

"I'm Tamori Kanna, and I, uh... had a little oopsie with my scooter. On the frontlight, to be specific. I... are you able to repair it? This place was highly recommended for repairs!"

Igoro bowed deeply to the samurai and presented the aforementioned scooter.

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“Oh, yeah. I can see what I can do. If the light needs to be replaced, I actually have a few spares in-store for this model.” Nagisa makes a few hand gestures in the air before accepting and taking the scooter in hand. From inside the shop, a drone flies on out. It circles the scooter while Nagisa also inspects the scooter.

“Yeah, easily fixable. The light does need to be replaced. Dents shouldn’t be too hard to take care of. No structural damage to the frame.” The drone chirps before whirring away, Nagisa nods along with the chirp. “Yeah, confirmed no frame damage.”

Then it crosses her mind to introduce herself. “Oh, uhh, Kaiu Nagisa. I like your dog. Very cute.”

A breath of worry left Kanna as her shoulders loosened up. "Oooh, that is very good to hear. Really-really, your clan has been so nice and helpful during my short stay!"

Igoro was still thinking of the deposit.

"Oooh, thank you. This is Kaida-kun, and he's very friendly," she smiled and gave another bow. "I'm Tamori Kanna, visiting for the governor's gathering. Do you want to say hi to Kaida-kun?"

[Kaiu Nagisa]

Placing the scooter down carefully, the Crab rises back to her full height. “We try to show hospitality to all our guests. So you’ll be in good hands here.”

Nagisa looks between the Dragon and her little dog, back and forth more than a few times. “Oh? Can I? I would love to say hi to the cute little buddy.”

"Please do, he loves people, especially new people," she assured Nagisa with a smile and placed Kaida down.

The little ball of floof did an excited tappity-tap with his paws, then twirled around a couple of times, before stopping to look at Nagisa with great excitement judging from the way his tail wagged the rest of his body.

[Kaiu Nagisa]

Nagisa bends down, holding out her hand to let the little dog smell her before giving the cute little fluff ball scritches between the ears. “Such a cute and tiny little guy. The dog I grew up with was massive in comparison. How old is he? He still has a lot of energy so I’m going to assume he’s relatively young.”

"A year and a half! So still very young, but he's smart and a quick learner," like most pet-owners, Kanna was happy to gush about her little fur-companion.

Kaida was very happy with the scritches, and repaid the favor with some licks on Nagisa's hand.

"What sort of dog did you grow up with, Kaiu-san?"

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“An Akita. Probably the weight of ten of little Kaida. What I named the shop after.” Nagisa seems content with giving the tiny dog scritches, but can’t help but chuckle when Kaida gives her little licks.

“Oh, I have a lot of pictures of him in the shop’s lobby area. Speaking of which, if you would like to sit down and wait, there’s chairs. I also have chilled drinks and snacks for customers if you require any.”

"Awww, that's so sweet. He's still here then in spirit," Kanna said, clasping a hand over her chest as she thought the naming was a truly touching gesture.

"Chilled drinks sounds wonderful. Ah, will it be difficult to fix the damage?"

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“No. It should be maybe a couple of hours. Simple job, just want to make sure everything is wired up to the replacement light correctly.” Nagisa taps on the banged up headlight. “Safety first and all that. Fixing the dents doesn’t take too long.”

The Kaiu motions towards the door to her waiting area, walking towards it herself so she could open it for the Dragon. “Do you prefer melon soda or green tea?”

Kanna, along with Igoro and Kaida, followed along to the waiting area.

"Green tea for me, and..." she looked to Igoro to hear what he wanted.
"Ah, uh... melon soda, please."
"And a melon soda!"

[Kaiu Nagisa]

With a nod, the Kaiu ducks behind the front counter and opens up a miniature fridge tucked underneath, pulling out a cold bottle of green tea and a different bottle of what would have to be the soda.

“So, the repairs might take a couple of hours. You can always wait here if you want, but I can either get you a ride if you need to be somewhere within that time.”

"Oh, I don't mind waiting. I wasn't in any rush, and," she looked to the pictures of Tetsuo for a bit, then remembered she was actually having a conversation, "... I will probably take Kaida for a walk in the area though! So we won't be far."

Kanna smiled widely as she patted Kaida's head. "He's been so happy with all the new scents and places to explore. And all the new people too."

[Kaiu Nagisa]

“It’s a nice area to take a walk. It’s way less busy a block over. Should be safe and quiet for your walk.” Nagisa smiles at the happy little dog.

“Little Kaida here is so well behaved even when excited. I can tell he’s gotten a lot of love, too. Does he like balls? Or is he more of a squeaker toy kind of guy?”
