Weather Advisory
The morning starts with a thunderous downpour that soaks up most of the island, causing some minor flooding in some parts of Nakahama City. Before it can become too concerning, it eventually relents and stops by late morning. The rest of the day is sunny and hot, with much of the humidity thanks to the early rain. Some smoke is seen atop Mount Nakahama. The evening is cooler than usual, and some solid drafts are felt in parts of the island by the western coast.
Kujira is currently at waxing crescent.

Kisha's Comments
screen-in-screen, with Kisha's well-lit and smiling face inset into the larger screen showing selected footage
Hey, fam, it's your girl, Kisha, with another set of Comments! I'm still here in Tango Province on Green Carp, and yesterday had just the most bussin aura!
the larger screen shows footage of the Residential Blocks
The Yasuki here have a tradition all their own: the First Market.
footage shifts to the child-run stalls
Green Carp mini-mes set up shop under the watchful eyes of family, friends,
an image of the governor appears
local luminaries, and
footage shits to Kisha, herself, helping set up a booth
even people passing by. Because children are the future, and who doesn't want a bright one?
the larger screen shows vignettes of children and other event participants selling their wares; Yasuki Taraka and Yasuki Honoka receive particular attention
These mini-mes sweated it, fam, no cap! Seeing them walk the talk had me gagged, and seeing folks hop this bus was, ngl, mad lit. But before I get glazing, lemme go out and touch grass; got more peeps to rep with, got more to get you soon.
Kisha, out!
shows thumb and two fingers of right hand extended, palm forward, smiles and winks, signs off
Rumours
Kuni 1: "I saw something really weird last night?"
Kuni 2: "What was it?"
Kuni 1: "It was a bunch of people in robes."
Kuni 2: "Uh... monks? Shungenja?"
Kuni 1: "No, creepy robes! And one of them was some kind of leader!"
Kuni 2: "Oh, like cultists or something! Did you call in a squad? Put a stop to them?"
Kuni 1: "Well, no."
Kuni 2: "Why not?"
Kuni 1: "I don't know, at the time, I thought they were just a concerned citizen's group or something. Looking out for the greater good."
Kuni 2: "How could that be for the greater good?!?!"
Yasuki 1: "Well, I didn't think it would be, but First Market was quite a success!"
Yasuki 2: "It really was, wasn't it?"
Yasuki 1: "Yeah! And it's had a good effect on my Jiro-kun. He finished his homework so early! Told me "I'm done!" and waved as he went to the mall!
Yasuki 2: "Mmm, and my Ryo brought me the last ice cream mochi, even though he really wanted it. I'm going to do something nice for him later!"
Yasuki 3, nearby: "Yeah, Kenta-kun did something like that. Traded a stuffed toy with his younger sister, even though it was his favorite, and he used to cuddle with it when he was sad... I don't really remember him doing that, but okay."
Yasuki 4: "My Jubei said that his teacher was going to give him a 70%, but he worked extra hard and got it moved up to an 80%! I'm so proud!"
Yasuki 1: "Such good influences those samurai were on them..."
Hiruma 1: "Bro, that workout was awesome!"
Hiruma 2: "Yeah bro, totally, I'm gonna get so many gains!"
Hiruma 1: "Yeah bro! I lifted so many weights, I was like URRRRGGGHHH!"
Hiruma 2: "I saw you bro! The weights were like AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Hiruma 1: "Yeah, your weights too, bro!"
...
Hiruma 1: "So, what should we do now?"
Hiruma 2: "... drone fight?"
Hiruma 1: "OH YEAH! That sounds awesome bro!"
Hiruma 2: "Yeah, let's go bro!"
Hiruma 1, flexing: "YEAHHHHHHHHHH"
Hiruma 2, flexing different muscles: "RRRRRAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHH"
Yasuki 5: "First market was really nice."
Yasuki 6: "It was! Although those foreign samurai were so... so..."
Yasuki 5: "Small?"
Yasuki 6: "Right? There was a Kanna and a Kanna, and they were almost the same size!"
Yasuki 5: "But you know what I was wondering?"
Yasuki 6: "What?"
Yasuki 5: "Where was the Governor?"
Yasuki 6: "Yeah... that's a good point. She's a normal size."
Yasuki 7: "Hey, did you know that the karo was spotted over by the casino?"
Yasuki 8: "Really, what do you think Umiko-chan could be doing there?"
Yasuki 7: "I don't know! Maybe gambling away with the city's money, I bet!"
Yasuki 8: "Shhh! That's crazy talk! Shut up! She wouldn't do that!"
Yasuki 7: "Why would the island be in trouble?"
Yasuki 8: "She does seem a bit frugal compared to the governor..."
Yasuki 9: "What are you doing just sitting on a park bench? We missed you during lunch hour at the izakaya!"
Yasuki 10: "I'm looking to be scouted! The city is filled with scouts, and they're picking people off the street for filming!"
Yasuki 9: "Uh-huh, you think that they're going to discover your fine acting talents because you're sitting in a park all day?"
Yasuki 10: "You're laughing now, but I'm going to be a star! I'm going to finally fulfill my dreams!"
Yasuki 9: "You're going to get punished by the manager if you don't finish those reports by the afternoon!"
