It is hard to miss the store's massive holographic sign depicting an animated fisherman scooping several gachapon capsules from the ocean. Gacha Umi's first three floors are wholly dedicated to gachapon machines, coin-operated machines that drop a random capsule with each transaction. They carry all manner of trinkets, charms, and accessories. The machine offerings constantly rotate, offering themes based on season, trends and collaborations. Some item examples are small replicas of cars, netsuke charms, and mini-plushies.
The hottest offerings currently are spirit realm denizen mini-plushies, which have been made popular by young Kuni. Some Crab often hang them on satchels and backpacks as a display of 'minions'. Mu-mujina mujina mini-plushies are the most popular brand, which are traditionally found in blind boxes, but micro-plushies are now available in gachapon.
Despite the gachapon business being very profitable, the store still maintains the fourth floor for older arcade machines. The local Crab seem to favour fighting games, such as The First Tournament series and shooting games like House of the Maho-Tsukai.
