Nakahama no Taito Tram Line (Path to Nakahama) [Large Gentry]
Location: Lower Nakahama.
Description: A tram line that spans Upper Nakahama's hotelry districts to Azuma Beach, with the intention of helping the touristic transport in the big city to be less car dependent and to redirect the foreign tourists towards strategical alliances with the Dragon, with various stops on touristic hotspots like clubbing districts, historical neighborhoods, and of course, a stop by Ryu no Renowigiru right on Azuma Beach. And of course, the Koi-kun Tap Card is used on the tram's systems!

Usagi no Yomogi (Rabbit's Mugwort) [Large Gentry, upgraded from Medium Gentry]
Location: Base of Mount Jinsei.
Description: A Dragon-owned Medical Spa, Usagi no Yomogi MediSpa offers a more reclusive place to relax away from the bustle of Nakahama City. Visits to use the facilities such as the baths, swimming pools, and yoga rooms are relatively cheap compared to the illustrious Natsuzora, but on the other hand Usagi no Yomogi offers a wide variety of beauty treatments and massages that range from the reasonable to most luxurious. It is a place of peace and relaxation, close to nature. The products used and sold at the shop there are all made by Tamori and Tonbo specialists in the field of dermatology and herbalism, in addition they also offer a large selection of traditional treatments and products made just the way the old Rokugani would have.

Ryu no Rewonigiru Shopping Center and Food Court (Dragon's Embrace) [Medium Gentry]
Location: Azuma Beach, Lower Nakahama.
Description: A shopping center set on Azuma Beach, catering to the out-planet touristic market as Crab locals avoid the black sands. Half of it offers a wide variety of offers from various planets and cultures, focused on the immediate needs of beachgoers, while the other puts emphasis on small local businesses with artisanal production, balancing support for local small commerce and exposing new goods and offers to the populace.

Nakahama no Koyu Shrine (Nakahama's Balm) [Medium Gentry]
Location: Base of Mount Nakahama.
Description: Doggedly built at the feet of the Mount Nakahama's volcanic activity zone, this shrine is dedicated to allow the experienced Tamori shugenja assist the Crab in tasks of calming the roars and rumbles from Mount Nakahama, while gathering data for the various research the Dragon tend to, including but not limited to, tectonic pattern research, the use of volcanic activity in divination, and the study of geologic activity for mining surveying studies.

Swiftslates Corporation Logistics Center, Nakahama Branch [Medium Gentry]
Location: Skycarp.
Description: A rather unamusing, if large warehouse and logistical center, set on one of the main avenues connecting the Space Elevator up to Skycarp. Due to it's oversize, it does lease some of it's space and warehousing services to other companies in need of storage and logistic support. It is to be noted that a rather unusual ammount of Dragon samurai do work on it's premises, and it's heimin workers do seem to be unusually vetted by Kitsuki Investigators.

Mantis Clan

The New Orochi - Katana Class Battleship [Large Gentry, upgraded from Small Gentry]
Description: After the untimely passing of Yasuki Nagsia her old battleship was left without a legal ownership. This posed something of a logistics and PR problem regarding sweeping the shenanigans it was involved in under the rug. Enter Ochiba who proposed to take very, very good care of the ship under a new name and paint job.

Now the New Orochi serves as her ship (the first hopefully, of many) as it raids the supply lanes and outskirts of the Mantis' enemies. It's crew a mixture of young and hungry Mantis from lower rank samurai backgrounds and Crab deserters trying to avoid imprisonment or worse after the failed coup. It can often be seen working alongside the infamous privateer The Great Orochi, hunting like two sharks in the great star ocean.

When battle is joined the crew fight fiercely for the generous share of plunder they will earn upon successful capture of a vessel, but there is a strict adherence to the captain's rules:

- Everyone gets a chance to surrender (saves on ammo)
- Only shoot a nerd if you really have to
- Don't shoot this ever growing list of samurai the captain personally likes

The Governor's Hunt [Medium Gentry]
Location: Jungle
Description: This hunting lodge and expedition center hosts visitors in luxury inbetween 'dangerous' expeditions into the jungle and waters of Green Carp. Guests can wrestle sharks (after signing a comprehensive waiver), chase terrors of the deep or even hunt the elusive Jigoku Flower.

The Governor herself is a patron of the establishment with a penthouse always kept in her name but otherwise the business caters primarily to offworlders. Unusually there are a number of shrines and even a small library and science center focusing on 'nerd' stuff, i.e all the interesting flora and fauna that it's not much fun to hunt.

Prices vary according to season and level of service with a number of the cheapest bungalow options catering to poorer samurai looking to build experience in the area or just enjoy travel on the cheap.

Alliance Hotel [Medium Gentry]
Description: A beachfront hotel focusing on providing the most relaxing and luxurious vacation possible, The Alliance Hotel is open to samurai of all clans but with discounted rates for Mantis, Crane and Spider. Famous heroes from all the clans are depicted in art throughout the venue, including a shirtless Crane oshidama legend by the beach and a number of spider in the conference room.

Visitors are invited to take advantage of a number of partnerships with local businesses, particularly those looking for antiques or other local culture knickknacks. Staffing is strictly merit based and there are rumours that the position of head maître d' is determined by a nighttime yacht duel. Management does not comment on such matters but has taken advantage of the glut of yachts locally to offer sailing expeditions as a regular treat.

A large copper statue of Osano Wo has been placed outside (thankfully, fenced in) and it seems to attract more than its share of lightning when a storm passes over the island. Ochiba thinks this is sick as hell.

The Obsidian Tortoise [Medium Gentry]
Location: Mount Nakahama
Renovating the mountaintop hotel, adding some Mantis touches, aimed at mostly high-end/rich Mantis-Crane and other guests. No further details so far.

The Vermillion Raptor [Medium Gentry]
A luxury yacht aimed more at cruising between the islands, and providing the luxury cruise experience that the Azure Dragon used to provide before being converted. Also, has adequate defences against great sharks and terrors.

Phoenix Clan

Ando ("Black Soil") Agricultural Station [Medium Gentry]
Location: Coastal Farmlands
Description: A Phoenix Clan investment in Tango Province's future agricultural potential, this high-tech research farm uses advanced Phoenix cultivation methods developed by the Agasha no Atsumaru vassal family to produce tasty, highly sustainable harvests of Shiawase Island's most distinctive crops on a minimal footprint, employing many local heimin. Some of the yield is sold locally, while a portion is processed for export off-planet to new Phoenix markets. Early harvests will include quick-growing land vegetables, seaweed, and an improved, environmentally friendly glass shrimp nursery; over time the Phoenix agriculturalists will also cultivate some of Shiawase's tropical fruits and other long-term crops, working to develop improved strains.

Spider Clan

The Living Nest Initiative [Medium Gentry]
The gentry is a business based around the Jimen Tori. It includes information on the birds and their history, streams and viewership of the birds in the wild as well as a special Jimen tori adoption program which goes towards making sure their habitat and way of life is preserved. It also has Jimen Tori merch such as shirts, plushies and other cute items!

Unicorn Clan

Itsuka dokomademo (Wherever) [Large Gentry, updated from Medium Gentry]
Location: Azuma Beach (small offices in Mt Jinsei, Tenjin Town and other tourist spots).
Description: Upscaled from its origins as an 3-vehicle agency offering transfer services and leisure trips to seaside locations, the Wherever - which some now call "Wherever and beyond" - now has a variety of new vehicles, including an assortment of small to medium-sized boats ('Array', 'Matrix', the oddly-named 'Buurian', among others), a yacht for seaborne trips (the 'Kirakira', or 'Sparkly'), a new stylish seaplane (the 'Firefly' - technically a seaboat)... and some cars and vans. The owner isn't particularly happy with the latter, but you can't get everywhere on the island otherwise - and that's what the Wherever promises. Trips to other islands in the Tango Province are now also routinely offered, both by plane and by sea.

Snacks, dinner and lunch service are now a standard option for half-day and day trips, and can be ordered for shorter trips if desired, mainly offering local dishes, many based on those featured on the Jade Chef and other Silver Fin productions. The Wherever's main office, still based on the same beachside house in Azuma Beach, now also has some indoor and outdoor tables, serving as a kiosk of sorts for those who want something to eat during their beach day.

The Wherever now also has small offices in Mt Jinsei, Tenjin Town and other touristy spots around the island, as well as in a few other islands in the province. Those are nowhere as well-equipped as the main office, usually with only one boat and/or car available at most times - but they mean those visiting other places have an option for transportation close by, or can easily book trips without going all the way back to Nakahama City.

The senior staff, Hanae, Akari and Seito, are still around, acting as beacons for the many new employees. With two planes, Akari now routinely takes tourists on the Float or the Firefly along with Seito, as well as still handling boats. Hanae is now the main person responsible for the head office alongside Itsuka herself (who is often away!).

The Wherever has also made a good effort to advertise its offers on the Green Carp mainland - and with it the beauties and bustling culture of Shiawase Island and Tango Province - a bold wager that the province's past as the brightest star in the western ocean provinces is soon to be back!

Coastal Winds Motorsports Association [Large Gentry, upgraded from 2 Medium Gentry]
Location: Harbourfront.
Description: A Unicorn owned race coordination venue and club. CWMA works to facilitate various road, water, and aerial races in and around the island. Primarily the now annual rally and boat races, but with the staff to plan one-off events. It also works extensively with local venues to promote their businesses. Offering a free tier of advertising, greatly reduced rates for more advertising, and first option for sponsorships to businesses. CWMA also carefully coordinates with the local government to ensure all races are properly permitted, safe, and minimize any potential environmental impacts.

Stellar Exodus Tourism Board [Medium Gentry]
Location: Sky carp
Description: Located on the orbital station, Stellar Exodus is a complete vacation planning service. While it works mostly to promote Shiawase Island to potential visitors, it also offers services for planning trips to several planets in the Empire. Heavily favoring Ide and Unicorn means of transportation of course. You're already flying with the best, why not let us handle the rest.

Imperial Families

Kisha Media Complex [Medium Gentry]
Location: Lower Nakahama City
Located in Lower Nakahama City, this office building hosts the newly established local field office of the Miya Entertainment and News Network. It also boasts a fair amount of space for lease to small media ventures. Also, the young Yasuki with whom Kisha worked in his First Market gets a preferential rate if he comes to do business (a non-transferable offer).

Minor Clan Alliance

Shiawase Island Nature Preserve and Research Station [Medium Gentry]
Location: Mount Nakahama
Although the first dedicated nature preserve on the Green Carp covers a not small swathe of jungle from Mt Nakahama along a small stream to a narrow section of the island's western beach, its economic value is extremely modest. Staffed by dedicated Kitsune shugenja and bushi, the site offers modest, ecologically sustainable tourism in concert with a small but highly prized posting for Fox Clan researchers, primarily those focused on Green Carp's exceptional fauna. Some local Yasuki were shocked at the MCA's plans, convinced that they were failing to exploit potential profit opportunities - which is, in fact, exactly as the Fox Clan intended.

Alliance Getaways Resort - Shiawase Island [Medium Gentry]
Location: Mount Nakahama
Far enough from Nakahama City that it can blend into the jungle but not so far that rogue fauna pose a serious threat to it, the initial buildings (Phase 1) of a nature-centered resort have been built to showcase the strength of diverse MCA member clans, with much more ambitious plans in the works. The Wise Sparrow Bed and Breakfast stands near Alliance Gifts and just down the road from the first building of Cunning Fox Forest Condominiums. Advertising for later phases of resort construction, including an ambitious Lucky Rabbit's Warren and Casino, are already beginning to appear, although a detailed master plan has yet to be agreed upon my MCA leadership.
