[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshuken sits up and shifts closer on the mat. A slow, feline smile forms as she reaches for Kisha’s boots. She doesn’t rush. Her fingers slide along the leather first, tracing the seams as if studying them, as if appreciating the excuse to touch anything that belongs to Kisha. Then, with a soft tug, she begins to loosen each boot, her eyes never leaving Kisha’s face.

The smirk deepens when she eases the first boot off, inch by inch, like it’s a ritual rather than a chore. The second follows just as slowly and Senshu’s thumbs get the chance to brush lightly along Kisha’s ankle before the boot slips free.

"There,” she murmurs, “much better. If you want something else removed... Shocks, pants, whatever, just tell me. Whatever you take off, I take off."

Kisha holds her breath, or tries to, as Senshuken removes the boots. There's always some pleasure in release from confinement, but the slow work of it adds to it, and the Miya's body shivers.

Kisha giggles.

"I was, I was hoping for something like that," she says.

"I was hoping I'd get to see more of you, too."

"Oh nice, we think alike!" She teases her and she stretches her legs forward, those poor feet of hers still trapped inside her boots. Then she takes her jacket off and leans back against her hands. "A regional rise of the temperature centered around this mat. Do you feel it, as well?"

"I do," Kisha says, nodding, and she works at the laces on the Bayushi's boots. There are a lot of them, so it takes a while, but her nimble hands undo the knots and slide the boots off of the feet they had protected. It seems to take some persuasion for them to slide down Senshuken's calves, but Kisha is able to move them along well enough; some deeper rubbing seems to do the trick.

"Where did you get these?" she asks as she puts the boots to the side. "They're formidable."

Senshuken hadn’t been prepared for how slowly Kisha would work or how careful her fingers would feel sliding along each knot and lace. The first brush along her calf sends a quiet shiver up her spine, subtle but impossible to hide. By the time Kisha starts easing the boot down, Senshu is staring at her with round, startled eyes, like she can’t quite believe Kisha is touching her like this on purpose. The deeper rub along her calf nearly undoes her. A soft, breathy sound slips out before she can catch it, half a soft moan, half an exhale, her lips part in a smirk that wobbles with pleasure.

When the second boot comes free, she’s looking at Kisha as though this mundane little task has become something sinful and sacred all at once. Senshuken’s voice comes out lower than intended as she murmurs. “The world of dreams sells mainly two things… dreams and fashionable clothing. You should find the time for a visit. Perhaps I'll be there to show you around both businesses.” Her smile turns slow and wicked, the kind that offers promises wrapped in silk. Figuratively! "Your turn, I believe?"

"It might be that I can get there," Kisha says. "Though this world has been dream enough for who I've met here.

"And the socks, please," she adds, wiggling her feet at Senshuken. "Can't feel sand between the toes with them on, after all."

She puts her own hands on Senshuken's feet, traces her fingers up her shins, sees what that does.

Senshuken is absolutely not ready for the way Kisha’s fingertips skim along her feet and glide up her shins. Her muscles give a tiny jump, a trembling little twitch she tries to smother by tightening her jaw. Her breath stutters once, barely audible, and she forces her expression into something composed. It doesn’t quite work. Her eyes give her away as they darken with a startled heat she pretends not to feel.

To save herself from full unraveling, Senshu reaches for Kisha’s feet in return, adopting a slow, teasing pace. Her hands glide over the socks, thumbs rubbing gentle circles into the arches, fingers trailing along the fabric as if mapping every contour. Then, in one swift move, she hooks the edge of the sock and slips it off, leaving Kisha’s bare foot in her palms. The second sock follows the same ritual. Soft touches, slow exploration and then a single smooth tug.

She keeps both of Kisha’s feet resting on her lap afterwards as her hands move up from ankle to calf under the hem of her pants, massaging with a tenderness. Her voice when she finally speaks is low and thoughtful. “I liked this place a great deal. I wish I could stay longer. Permanently even.” Her thumbs press a little deeper into Kisha’s calf, their motion slow and warm. “It has its perks. It even feels like it would make luring you back… much easier.”

Kisha giggles.

"I think we found more ways to fluster you, Sen-chan," she says, and she gives a small sound of contentment at getting her own feet rubbed.

"That feels lovely," she adds. "If I come back, can I count on more of these from you?

"Because I will have to go," she continues. "There's a trip I have to take, and then there will be work I'll have to do for the Family. I can hope I can get back here; I'll try to get back here. But I can't promise I'll get back here."

She sighs and falls silent for a moment, her hands growing still as she does.

Then she looks Senshuken full in the face. "So I'll do what I can, here and now."

She scoots suddenly towards the Scorpion, moving her legs to the side, takes the Bayushi's hands in her own, squeezes them, kisses the fingertips, the palms, and presses them to her chest.

"I mean it, Sen-chan," she says, "when I say that I'm thankful to have met you."

And she kisses her again.

Senshuken barely manages a breath before Kisha’s hands find hers. “I’m leaving in a few hours.” She starts with a voice softer than silk. “And I… I won’t be coming back. I messed some things up here.” It’s all she gets out, just the bare bones of a truth she intended to explain, before Kisha’s eyes catch hers and the rest of the world simply folds away.

Her thoughts dissolve the moment Kisha’s lips touch her fingertips, then her palms, then press her hands against the warm rise of her chest. The kiss that follows swallows every excuse, every thought at once. Senshu leans into it, hungry and unguarded, and the kiss flames quickly into something deep and consuming. When she pulls back, it’s only to breathe, not to retreat.

With a single smooth motion, she lifts her crop top over her head and takes it off. Her skin glows in the candlelight, her breath still unsteady from the kiss. She stays close, close enough for her voice to brush Kisha’s cheek as she asks, low and unshielded, “Tell me, Kisha… what do you want?”

Kisha's response is wordless save for one word.

"You."

And all fades to black around them...
