[Bayushi Senshuken]

"I was tipsy and extremely hot and bothered. Not scared, I wouldn't say so. Stressed yes." She keeps holding her. "But it's not like..." She has said it twice already. She's a human. With likes and dislikes and feelings. They are talking about a theoretical scenario and debating what Kisha wants to do and whether she's scared or not, but... She hasn't asked if Senshuken wants to sleep with her right here, right now. "There's no pressure. There never will be." She whispers to her.

Senshu's hand gently leads her chin up. "Look at me. Focus on my eyes and breath. I got you. Talk to me. What scares you and why do you put so much pressure on yourself. Life doesn't end today. We can stay here as long as we want. We can sleep sleep together. Or not. We can stay up to see the sunset. We can play games or talk about our lives. Are you ready for any of these? Do they scare you?"

[Miya Kisha]

"I...what I do, even though the Family support it, even though the Family benefits from it, it's...really kind of silly," Kisha says. "I mean, I stumbled into it, really. But I'm my parents' only, and there's a lot bound up in everything, and I know the day is coming when I won't have a chance to do what it is that I want to do. Professionally, I mean. Probably personally, too."

She presses herself into the Bayushi's embrace.

"You're right, though. Life goes on. And we're here, now, together, alone."

She looks out over the sea under the stars. It might be that one shines brighter, wreathed in silver.

Kisha draws a deep breath, exhales slowly. She swallows.

"Senshuken," she says. "I think...no, I want you...to touch me. Please."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

She boops her nose. "Here. It is done. Now let's take it easy."

She speaks seriously this time. "I would bet a hundred koku that you came here with a plan and that's what makes you like that right now. Life isn't a checklist of experiences. And I'm certainly not a delivery service. Or a service of any kind."

"Do you want some wine? We could play a game. We're both courtiers, I bet that we can find a good one. We will cuddle and kiss if we want. We will eat our oysters. Who knows skinny dip even? Lots of options. And if anything more comes organically, we'll be here, relaxed and eager to welcome and enjoy it. Hai?"

[Miya Kisha]

"I've hurt your feelings," Kisha says. "That...I didn't mean to do that. I didn't realize it would. I'm...I apologize."

She hangs her head.

"I really didn't have a plan, though. I'm in the dark, and not just because it's night."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"It's okay, honey. I understand. I have been you. Senshu decided it so the whole world will be honored to fall to her feet." She chuckles more joyfully this time. "Mom would be so proud of me right now." She says jokingly and leans towards that bottle of wine without breaking the embrace.

"Oh no! It's not within my reach and I don't want to let you go!" She says playfully and acts as if she's really struggling to reach it while being anchored by the pull of Kisha's warmth. "Now we do need a plan or we'll die of dewinezation! Yes, it's not a word, only that now it is!"

[Miya Kisha]

"Well, maybe this," and Kisha rolls over, or at least tries to, shifting her small frame towards the bottle so that one of them, at least, can reach it.

She grunts with the effort, honestly. It's clear that she'll need to do some conditioning if she's going to try this kind of thing often. And she may well want to do that.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"I will help you, my brave heroine!" The Bayushi declares pompously while she wraps an arm around Kisha's waist to bring her on top of her own body, the other hand going straight for that bottle that she could easily reach after all.

"Oh wait!" She exclaims as they find themselves laid down snuggling. "I have seen this whole uncorking bottles with your teeth thing." She tries it. Ok, it takes two efforts, but it's done. With style!

"Now, my lady, an important question." Her tone is teasing and playful. "Do you claim me or the bottle?" She asks as she lays beneath her and looks her straight into the eyes, the bottle in one hand while the other rests comfortably on Kisha's waist.

In response, Kisha lays herself more fully onto Senshuken, kissing her once again before she says "You've already got the bottle."

She kisses her again. "I'll claim you."

And she lays down, her head on Senshuken's chest.

"I hear your heartbeat," she says. "It's fast!"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Tachycardia can be a result of catastrophic failure due to the Imperial... weight falling onto me." She says in a theatrically sage tone.

"It is either that or the kisses. My lips are sealed. I'm not saying which it is. You will have to steal the truth away if you want to know."

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha sits up, rising to look down at Senshuken, her weight settling across the Scorpion woman's thighs.

She laughs as she does. "I know you're not joking about my weight, Sen-chan," she says, and she leans back. "Especially not since you're my prize and all, now."

The Miya turns her head slightly, raising her chin. "I wonder if I ought to tell you to pay tribute to me."

Then she smiles and giggles.

"And that would be silly!"

She pivots to sit beside the Bayushi. "Why don't you pour us a little to drink, and maybe we can have an oyster or two, like you said. Those were good ideas."

She nods.

"You're a good idea."

Even under the candle light it is more than evident that something made Senshu fluster. She raises slowly to lean against her elbow.

"Yes, oysters. And wine." She raises an eyebrow inquisitively. "What kind of a tribute did you have in mind?"

[Miya Kisha]

"Well, first," Kisha says, "you can tell me what's got you flustered all of a sudden.

"After that," she adds, "and after we get a little bit of a snack, maybe you could help me get my boots off. It seems a shame to be on a beach and not feel the sand between my toes.

"Past that? Who knows?" Kisha draws her chin up again. "My highness might deserve more, after all."

Her tone at the last is remarkably imperious. But then she laughs again.

"Could you guess I've been around some Otomo?"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshu joins her in laughter mostly as a way to hide her reaction to the shiver that runs down her spine.

She pours wine for both of them and offers one glass to Kisha. "I'm an open book, Kisha chan. The honest Scorpion." She winks. "I might like the idea of paying tribute a bit too much, but that's like running and you're just learning how to walk."

She raised her glass towards Kisha's. "What shall we drink to?"

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha takes the glass and holds it up.

"To tonight," she says, and drinks of it. Sips, really, savoring the taste.

"But, really, what's flustered you?" she adds, reaching for the oysters and offering them to Senshuken.

"You're a real, full person," she adds. "But I can't know you if you don't let me."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"To tonight." She repeats and slowly savors the wine before placing the glass down.

"The tribute, I told you. It was a very hot line." She reaches for the oysters and a small fork. First she picks one and opens it. Then detatches it from the shell. A drop of lemon and she leads it to Kisha's lips.

"I liked it. Because I like you and I like role playing a lot. Small scenarios for two. Sometimes commanding, sometimes be commanded."

Kisha leans forward, and her tongue and teeth gently take the offering.

She chews for a few moments, closing her eyes to savor the flavor of the thing, swallows.

"That's nice," she says. "And maybe I should fluster you some more," she adds, picking up another oyster and gently prying it open. Freeing the flesh from the shell, she offers it to Senshuken in turn, saying "But you'll need to keep your strength up to do it, I think."

Senshu tilts her head back and lets it slip in, her eyes always on Kisha's.

She smirks in her familiar by now way. A smirk full of confidence and dashing mystery. "Please, do tell me what's the thing that will leave me weak in the knees and weak in general."

[Miya Kisha]

"Why, bearing the weight of us!" Kisha rejoins, laughing again and shucking another oyster. This one, she eats herself, and she sips at her wine again.

Once her mouth is clear, she'll say "But if I'm playing the Otomo, then you know you're going to be told to do things. What all they'll be, I don't yet know "

Her smile sharpens. "But we'll put those lovely hands of yours to work, for certain."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

The urge to agree is strong, but something stops her. She doesn't do this usually. She's not the type to decide about other people's actions and experiences. Not the type that believes that she knows better what the others want. Still Kisha is just learning how to walk and speeding in the very first meters of a marathon is generally not a good strategy.

She looks up to her eyes while her hand idly goes for her glass. "What if it is Miya Kisha the one who gets to tell me to do things. I don't know this Otomo. Why would I serve her needs, whatever they might be."

She takes a sip, her eyes always on the other woman, and smirks. "Do you happen to know what Kisha san might wan.. need me to do?"

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha blinks in surprise. She'd thought there was a game going on, and she'd thought she was playing along with it. Maybe she went too far?

But she gives her head a little shake. "I wouldn't mind help with my boots, if you're willing," she says. "And I could help you with yours, maybe?"

There's not hesitation in her face at this, not really, but some uncertainty. About herself. About if she is doing things right. About if she is giving offense in a way she does not realize.
