Infrared, Ultraviolet (D12 MA Nishi Beach, Expecting)

A meeting at an embassy might be the most right and proper thing to do. It might be what would be expected in most circumstances.

But many of the visitors would soon be going home, and where better to talk about the island than one of its most loved (and often crowded) places?

Itsuka waited sitting at one of the Kiosks in Nishi Beach, a cup of iced bubble tea on the table.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Soon enough Bayushi Senshuken arrives. This is a meeting at a beach, not at an embassy so she's dressed for the circumstances. A black pair of shorts, a black crop top and crimson sneakers. She approaches and offers a bow. "Good afternoon, Utaku san." She doesn't smile. This is a serious moment. "I would like to offer my condolences for the loss of your clan mate. I didn't have a chance to meet her, which I now regret. We always believe that there's time for everything in this world. It's the human nature."

Soon enough Bayushi Senshuken arrives. This is a meeting at a beach, not at an embassy so she's dressed for the circumstances. A black pair of shorts, a black crop top and crimson sneakers. She approaches and offers a bow. "Good afternoon, Utaku san." She doesn't smile. This is a serious moment. "I would like to offer my condolences for the loss of your clan mate. I didn't have a chance to meet her, which I now regret. We always believe that there's time for everything in this world. It's the human nature."

Itsuka gets up and bows respectfully to the Bayushi. She's similarly dressed to occasion, although Senshuken may notice the warm colours of her shorts and top are slightly more contained than last time. Her expression as she greets the Scorpion is also serious, and becomes more so when she mentions Shiwahime.

"Thank you, Bayushi-san. Moto-san lived fast and strong, and she passed on as a noble soul. For that we are glad - and equally for your condolences."

Words aside, her tone seems somehow more alive than it was before, as if embers deep inside her had been fanned back to a flame.

"A drink, or something to eat while we talk, Bayushi-san?", she says, pointing to a menu.

"A soda with ice and lime is fine."

She takes a better look at the other woman. "There's something different about you, but I cannot pinpoint what it is exactly. Anyways it suits you well whatever it is."

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Kazushi shows up fashionably late, taking a seat at the kiosk next to Senshuken. Katsumi sits beside him, laptop at the ready to record any arrangements made during the meeting, while Kurumi sits a bit further away, where she can watch anyone who might come near the place.

"Apologies for the delay," he says, "and my condolences for the loss of your kinswoman, Utaku-san. I didn't know Moto-san well, but her actions showed her to be of the highest quality."

[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

Arriving in uniform, Suh-Hyun removed her aviator's and made her way to the meeting area. She was a bit surprised to see that others had arrived first and checked her watch with a frown. Seems time had gotten away from her. Regardless she was here now and continued onward until she had linked up with the group.

"Good afternoon mina-sama," She takes her place alongside the Utaku. Her smile was back, though a bit more subdued then usual.

[Soshi Kotori]

Kotori seemed to appear from nowhere, had she had wandered along with Kazushi, or had she been there all along? It's hard to tell.

She gave a polite bow to her senior clansmen and then to the two unicorn she had only seen in passing at the various events. It was fairly obvious that she was at the bottom of the totem pole.

She took a brief moment to make very briefly introduce herself - only as much as courtesy demanded to not interrupt the flow of conversation. Then she sat.

[Bayushi Hinata]

The fnal atendee strolls onto the place wearing a much more formal outfit than is appropriate for the beach, but so is expected of his station, fashion needs to be universal. Crimson button up, black dress pants, dark grey tie. He's not bearing his full daisho, nor his sidearm, only his wakizashi. Somewhat off-dutyit would seem.

He solemnly bows to both Unicorn in silence, having been one of the participants of the firefight that ended their clanswoman's life. "Utaku-sama, Shinjo-sama." He turns to bow to the rest of the scorpion, wearing an uncharacteristically serious expression. He sat by the side, arms and legs crossed. He clearly tries to avert the Unicorn's gazes.
