"It all depends on the demand... but no... I love making RPGs but i have to be diverse. Telling stories and letting people decide what path to take. Having a good ending, a bad ending... and the unexpected one." She nodded. "I can do that for other kinds of game i know that... but many players don't go for the story... they prefer the gameplay and how close it is to something real."

"You have to cater to your audience." Taraka agreed. "While telling a story that only you yourself read is satisfying on some level, there's something very special about the words you create ending up in the minds of others. And so that can mean you need to sometimes dress it up a bit to meet their needs as well as yours. I think it's a good designer who can inspire many people with their work, even if that means the vision is different than what they themselves wanted."
