Weather Advisory
The skies are clear today, with the bright sun overhead being ever-present. This, coupled with the lingering humidity from much of yesterday's short rain, makes for some rather oppressive heat throughout the day. Locals make do by using all available conveniences to deal with the heat, including crowding the cooling stations and finding refuge in any store that has their climate systems working overtime. Some small sales are offered by retail stores in an effort to get people's minds off of the heat (as well as lure people out). There are plenty of advisories that populate the speakers and informator channels to remind the heimen (and visitors) to mind the heat.
There is only a little reprieve found in the evening, as the evening is still considered hot and the heat advisories are in effect. Many will likely sleep with either cooling packs, fans, or their climate systems cranked up.

Informator
The commercial opens with showing the top of the Kaiu Wall at night, several torches are lit along the parapet in a seemingly futile effort to maintain visibility. The overlay text indicates this is: Rokugan - Year 1169.
A gargled voice calls out from below, sounding rather unwell and quite obviously suspect.
Gargled Voice: "Open up! I've returned from the Shadowlands!"
One guard looks below and narrows her eyes in consideration before calling back.
Guard: "Oh yeah? What brand do you smoke?"
Gargled Voice: "Uhm...ah..ah...Mobara Lights?"
The guard looks unconvinced and shakes her head, then calls out to the rest of the Wall.
Guard: "Okay, drop it!"
A hidden door opens on the Wall and drops a large boulder below. An inhuman scream with a sickening crunch is heard shortly after.
Gargled Voice: "Arrrrggh!"
Despite being very anachronistic, the guard pulls out a pack of cigarettes and lights one up to smoke.
Voice Over: "The number #1 Cigarette Brand in the Crab Clan! Prove yourself! Trust in Lucky Kogeki cigarettes!"
"Please be considerate where you are smoking. Smoking might not be allowed in your space. Lucky Kogeki does not detect taint."
