[Day 10, LM, Private Room] Morning for Tea

Today wasn't an especially notable day. Honoka woke much earlier in the morning, and had gotten right to work. Filing papers, sending emails, and stamping her name on all the things that needed to be stamped. A list of data transfers from one corporation to another to an agency and so on and so forth. Everyone needed something done, and it was her job to ensure it all met to regulation. In her moment of a break, where she had time to grab lunch she and Hiroto would leave her building to Honoka's favorite place, stop and eat. Only on their way back this time Honoka stopped before Kappa's Pond, a place where she's often gone for business and almost never pleasure.

Walking inside she rents out a private room she orders herself, and Hiroto, a pot of tea as well as a number of pastries and delights. In this private room she and Hiroto sit in a comfortable silence. Occasionally looking at one another, seeming to have their own brand of conversation all their own. Their faces inscrutable to an outside observer, as they were stoic and poised. They enjoyed their evening like this together. Though the two didn't have what one would call a deep and successful friendship, over the year or so together they'd gotten to know one another. Then it was only in this past week that perhaps they had grown to respect one another.

Without a word spared between the two of them, they walk from the establishment an hour and a half later. Feeling from this time away from all of the noise a sort of refreshment they did not find anywhere else. Perhaps, it would be strange to anyone else, but no one else needed to know. This moment was for them, and though it would likely be a stretch to call them such, friends.
