"There's that, and your design skills, and your real estate ambitions. And let's not forget your modesty." she offered in a mix of praise and tease.

"In my field, one is either modest or outrageous, and...," he pauses, looking at his attire as if just noticing how striking it is. "...and perhaps I could stand to try matching my behavior to my appearance a bit. I can't imagine how jarring the contrast must be."

This elicited a small shrug.

"You come across as elegant to me, Bayushi-san, I can't speak for others." she admitted. "Though I suppose you could ask Bayushi Senshuken in lessons on how to be bold. She certainly carries enough of it to pass along some."

"For racers, reckless extravagance is par for the course," agrees Kazushi. "Her heritage only exacerbates that."

Taraka tilted her head at that.

"Oh? I'm afraid I don't really know anything about her heritage, Bayushi-san." she admitted.

A wry smile crosses the Scorpion's face.

"Would the name Bayushi Shoju ring a bell?"

Taraka frowned, trying to place the name.

"Hmmm, only a distant one, Bayushi-san. I'm afraid history class was some time ago, And you know how it is, they focus on teaching us the founding Kami first, and then a lot of focus on the heroes of the Crab. I think I remember that he was important to the Scorpion, but the why and how eludes me." she admitted.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"Let's say that her line has a reputation for audaciousness," Kazushi says, his smile darkening slightly. "You're right, though - I could learn a lot from her and her approach. I'll have to see where she plans on going after the governor's event is over."

[Yasuki Taraka]

This netted a small shrug.

"Well, should her plans succeed, I believe she intends to stay here in Nakahama, Bayushi-san." she revealed.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

Kazushi shrugs.

"I hadn't discussed her plans with her yet, but I suppose that works out," he says. "I foresee a lot of drone dueling in the future..."

[Yasuki Taraka]

Taraka grinned.

"Most likely so. So leave us some space while you rehabilitate the beach, won't you Bayushi-san?" she asked with a hint of a tease.

[Bayushi Kazushi]

"Oh, I'll make sure there's a dedicated space for drones," Kazushi replies with a laugh. "Maybe Senshuken-san's organization will take up one of the open spots and offer on-site maintenance, although I wouldn't want to cause any trouble for any locals already doing that sort of thing. Not that a little competition isn't healthy, of course, and different modders may offer vastly different adjustments."

Taraka nods.

"Actually, I bet what she would really like would be a racetrack. The rally was definitely fun, but her business would really benefit from somewhere to really showcase speed regularly." she mused.
