She couldn’t get herself to sleep. It’s just one of those nights. Mind just unable to keep from racing. Didn’t help that her neighbor in the unit next to her was having a good time with his friends. That man laughed way too loud. She’s thirsty, maybe a little bit of a drink would help? Nothing in her fridge to drink than energy drinks and the case of beer she won from the arcade, Nagisa doesn’t wish to indulge in either vice.

Putting her joggers on and throwing on one of the Tetsuo Auto Repair shirts, she grabs a light jacket and decides to exit her apartment. There’s a vending machine at the end of the block.

The crisp night air feels right, one of the moons full in the sky so late at night… Maybe a bit of a walk around the block after getting her drink would calm her mind down?

Reaching the vending machine at the corner, Nagisa’s slightly frustrated that her favorite soda is all gone. Oh well, the hibiscus tea was pretty decent. Selecting the right button, there’s a satisfying clunk as the drink hits the bottom.
