[Yoritomo Yakura]

"I'm sure we'll turn up somewhere or maybe back on Gakko Island..." She shook her head, this was probably the worst thing to be dwelling on in a swanky restaurant, so it was probably best to move on. "She was only upset at you for a few weeks? I hear heirloom disagreements can go on for decades...That's rather kind of her, at least."

"Maybe not drink and gamble," Umiko spoke up on that front to immediately stop that idea. "Maybe something else that I haven't done recently? A picnic sounds like a really good idea, it feels like it's been forever since I've done anything like that! Maybe on the Harbourfront? We could consider Nishi Beach? Or in the Kuni Gardens? Or even at a local park, even? We could get adventurous and go to Mount Jinsei. There's really no shortage of options on the island."

"Well, you see...she was almost bald at the time. The boyish short hair phase of the bushi ko, you know. It was more of a prestige question. Luckily she has let it grow out since then."

Yakura suddenly looked aghast? "Recently? Yasuki-sama, have you been gambling and drinking without me? I feel betrayed" She said dramatically. "Though Mount Jinsei does sound nice. We could pack stuff up in my car, park it out, have fun? On a day on one of the nicer weathers, hopefully."

[Yasuki Umiko]

"Well, you see...she was almost bald at the time. The boyish short hair phase of the bushi ko, you know. It was more of a prestige question. Luckily she has let it grow out since then."

Yakura suddenly looked aghast? "Recently? Yasuki-sama, have you been gambling and drinking without me? I feel betrayed" She said dramatically. "Though Mount Jinsei does sound nice. We could pack stuff up in my car, park it out, have fun? On a day on one of the nicer weathers, hopefully."

"Oh..." Umiko murmur softly on the issue, while perhaps not quite seeing the full issue but could understand problems that might arise when it came to someone's appearance. Her time in Aoi48 and the entertainment business had a host of appearance expectations and minimums. "Thankfully, she got better..."

"No, no, not at all," she smiled sheepishly on the matter, waving off concerns. "I think since I've given it a try, it would be nice to do something else for a change, especially when I don't have that much free time as karo. A picnic is less demanding, and we can all be winners for enjoying the weather and perhaps even with a peaceful view of Lake Ibuki? We might have to hike up a little further from the road to make that happen, but it would be very worth it!"

Umiko pulled out her communicator and took a quick look at the upcoming weather. "Hmm, we might be looking mostly clear days until the 1st of Boar, according to forecasts."

"Oh..." Umiko murmur softly on the issue, while perhaps not quite seeing the full issue but could understand problems that might arise when it came to someone's appearance. Her time in Aoi48 and the entertainment business had a host of appearance expectations and minimums. "Thankfully, she got better..."

"No, no, not at all," she smiled sheepishly on the matter, waving off concerns. "I think since I've given it a try, it would be nice to do something else for a change, especially when I don't have that much free time as karo. A picnic is less demanding, and we can all be winners for enjoying the weather and perhaps even with a peaceful view of Lake Ibuki? We might have to hike up a little further from the road to make that happen, but it would be very worth it!"

Weren't too many picnic locations back on the dice, and nowadays I don't really have the time." She smiled bashfully. "That is something I appreciate when spending time with you Yasuki-sama. You allow me to slow down a bit." She let out a sigh. "Sure, that sounds good, I think. Say, what is your favorite food?"

"A picnic sounds nice then. On the mountain...I'll see what I can scrounge up foodwise. Haven't really been to a picnic in...." she seemed deep in thought. "For...ever? Huh. Weren't too many picnic locations back on the dice, and nowadays I don't really have the time." She smiled bashfully. "That is something I appreciate when spending time with you Yasuki-sama. You allow me to slow down a bit." She let out a sigh. "Sure, that sounds good, I think. Say, what is your favorite food?"

"I wish I could practice what I preach, to be honest," she giggled after a sip of her slushy drink. "I haven't been on a picnic in forever. I hope that our guests are also taking advantage of their time here and having picnics of their own. There's probably at least a dozen spots where you could have a gathering of sorts, considering how safe the island is, especially compared to the rest of the Green Carp."

"That really depends, but off the top of my head...I don't think I'll ever tire of sashimi and sushi from the island. They were good in Aoihama, too, but there are just small and minute notes of freshness that are missing by the time the fish reaches the city. Maybe it's just my imagination! But I think so. All the sweets from Kappa's Pond are very nice. I'm particularly a fan of the burger cocquettes they make in Tenjin Town." She nodded enthusiastically on that note.

Especially the spread I acquired." She puffed her chest in pride at that. "Perhaps some of it we can set up sushi style, if you'd like? I am not sure when I'll do it, but I know you are a busy person, so it is fine if you can't attend. I know this Island depends on you a lot."

"Oh, what a hypocrite you are Yasuki-sama, is that the kind of role model our young samurai should look up to?" She teased the all mighty karo with a wink. "Ooooh, sushi! "Sorry..." Umiko feigned a bit of guilt on her part and dipped down to a bow to show how sorry she truly was! "I do my best to be the perfect role model, even after my graduation from Aoi48. I am fully responsible for influencing the new generation of Crab, after all! So, this is some rather gross failure on my part. My deepest apologies! It won't happen again!"

After that, she would break into a giggle that would eventually get settled down with a sip of her drink.

Umiko nodded approvingly at her idea. "That seems like a nice gesture, and it would indeed highlight your business to both the locals and the visitors. I'm surprised you haven't thought of that earlier but you've been busy with the bid process and aiding the Mantis. If you do indeed plan and hold it, I'll do my best to attend!"

"Sorry..." Umiko feigned a bit of guilt on her part and dipped down to a bow to show how sorry she truly was! "I do my best to be the perfect role model, even after my graduation from Aoi48. I am fully responsible for influencing the new generation of Crab, after all! So, this is some rather gross failure on my part. My deepest apologies! It won't happen again!"

After that, she would break into a giggle that would eventually get settled down with a sip of her drink.

Yakura swatteda at the air. "I am just teasing you Yasuki-sama, if the next generation of Crab turns out your way, it will be a boon for the Empire. YEah, it's been busy, and something is always cropping up at the Dragon, so I can never leave things fully alone." She let out a sigh.

"I should try and order some catering next to our own dishes...what do you think of Crabkaku? I have heard good things of it."

Umiko nodded slowly at the mention of Crabkaku, a bit of a sore spot, considering the recent incident there. "Yasuki Honoka-chan, the owner, is a good childhood friend of mine and I'm really happy that she's decided to open a business of her own, especially one focused on her passion. So, I think I might be biased there. I haven't tried much of the food there, despite a few visits, but I'm sure it's very good. Likely the best crab dishes on the island!"

With that, their ordered food would arrive before them, probably reading their minds about their appetite and the future picnic idea. Umiko had her Tango Tuna sushi platter while Yakura had her daily caught fish dish.
