Holy shit. That was… A lot. Impressively so. Nagisa looks between her friend and Ichitaiyo, gauging Honoka’s reaction. Well, she was certainly pleased by all of this.

Pleased herself, Nagisa chuckles. “I know no less than three of my kin that would probably become giddy with excitement with that infrastructure planning information. My mother included.”

"Feel free to, Yasuki-sama." Ichitaiyo replied with humbleness, sliding the folders over to the Lady the few inches remaining before they could reach her.

The Swiftslates file contained detailed internal investment research reports, accounting work, projections, internal communications and comparative investments and results of similar cases of out-Clan investments and results, all with generally favorable numbers by the end.

The Usagi file in turn was as technical on terms of business, bearing the documentation that Ichitaiyo had requested of Kanna as soon she became aware of the meeting, but it more than made up in documentation in public relations, environmental and urbanizing studies done in other previous investments, revealing the due dilligence that the Tamoris paid to ensure their footprint was nothing but beneficial to the people and nature, the teasing of lesser-known research projects, secret and classified yet, but promising plenty in corporate speak, and humongous reports on market research, marketing strategies and publicity tactics, presenting the seriousness of the touristic side of the business.

Finally, the infrastructure plans were clearly Ichitaiyo's work and projections, made not too long ago, and bearing the documentation she claimed- documentation that not everyone had access to. They were ambitious, contained swathes of calculations and possibilities, and held within itself, clear knowledge that the samurai had walked every street and flied over every island on some way, matched demographic data and talked with the locals. Ichitaiyo's report, not bearing the work of others, might not be mighty on numbers or studies, but she had a tight control over information, sense for what is good, applying the kind of commercial knowledge that too many bean counters missed, the common sense.

And what all had in common, was Ichitaiyo's shrewdness to bear privileged information, elements that would not be for anyone else's eyes. No way a low corpo-rat like her could obtain such high level documentation, no way she could have gotten ahold of Usagi's data without Kanna's aid and dear position, nobody could have gotten all that urbanistics information without getting inside the Magistry.

Ichitaiyo's tool was Information, and was willing to use it to pry open truths and possibilities. And her silence was merely holding cards.

At this moment, Kanna could see some of her second oldest sister in Honoka. The excitement over data and numbers.

Yet, she is very happy to see that Honoka is pleased with her work in the neighborhood. "I'm glad you approve, Yasuki-sama." With a smile, she helped herself to some of the refreshments offered to them, allowing the Crab to look over the paperwork.

Taking the paperwork in hand Honoka immediately dove into it. Of course, she couldn't necessarily get too much of a real bite into it just sitting here at the table with her guests present. However, she enjoyed every bit of skimming and glancing across the trove of information presented here. Finally, finally, there was someone else who spoke her language.

That they had prepared this, and thought of this, well it only made sense such a thing would have been delivered in the hands of a clan ally. Suppose that's why they were clan allies wasn't it! Honoka's smile peaks through the polite mask she wears no matter how hard she tries as she read. Taking occasional glances up at Kanna, and then Ichitaiyo.

Pausing her viewing of the documents she would say, "Oh yes, this is far greater than I have begun to suspect I might receive from anyone. That you have put this work in is very heartening to hear, and you should know speaks incredibly well of the Dragon and yourselves."

"I am excited to delve into these documents more, so that I can get the full scope of the work you have provided here. However, just my time looking at it now I can already see the care that went into this. Care that went into the Tango province, and my home," she says warmly. "Now if I might be able to use my weight to support the Dragon, well I shouldn't speak too soon and appear too easily swayed but this... Yes I think you will be seeing a shift in the coming days."

"You're very kind, Yasuki-sama. But I do think that Ichitaiyo-san is indeed worthy of all praise she receives!" Kanna was very proud of her fellow Dragon who had done amazing (but boring) paperwork!

"I'm so glad you say so, truly, I am very grateful!" Making sure her hands were free of cups or snacks, she gives Honoka a seated bow. "I hope you'll share this opinion with your kinsmen too, in case any one else feels the same way you do, but just the support of you, and Kaiu-san, is very heartwarming!"

“Hard work is always worth praise.” Nagisa gives the Kitsuki a genuinely appreciative smile. She then addresses both Dragon with an even bigger smile. “And I appreciate those that work towards bettering the community I love!”

“Ah, speaking of community… Tamori-sama.” She turns to the Shugenja. “I hope you enjoyed participating in our annual rally.”

"I did! It was the first time I got to participate in anything like that, but I sure hope I get the chance to repeat the experience. Kaida had such a great time too!" She was practically beaming.

"Oh, that does remind me... Yasuki Umiko-sama asked me to help with the arrangements for the Bon Festival. It would be wonderful if either of you, as representatives of their own local shops here, would contribute anything to the festival." She bowed to the two of them as she asked them for this.

Bringing up the Bon Festival made Nagisa’s eyes light up with excitement. “Oh! I would love to help. If anything needs to be put together or whatnot, I can assist with that. Is there some kind of meeting coming up to maybe coordinate efforts?”

"You will find every year I can, I support what community events I am able. This one will certainly be no exception with Yasuki Umiko helming the efforts," she says with a performed certainty that perhaps seems a little awkward for those in the room. However, it was easy enough to disregard and move on.

"That you are helping Tamori-san is great to hear!"

Yay! thought Kanna, happy to know that more of the locals were pitching in.

"I feel it's the least I can do as a visiting ally who hopes to be posted here in the future. And as a priestess it's only natural!" Wow, it would be amazing if she could be posted here and have these two Crabs as her neighbors, so to speak.

"The monks at the temple mentioned that it would be nice if someone could add to the fireworks display, apart from the usual stuff that the festival needs." There was the dancer too, so she hoped Hiroki might still do that.

“Did they say exactly what they wanted added for the fireworks display?” Nagisa tilts her head to the side questioningly. “Depends on what they want I might be able to assist them. Along with various other tasks I am willing to help with.”

"I do! I've really come to enjoy it here," Kanna admits openly, "and, if... well, my name is also in the helmet for drawing names when it comes to marriages with the Crab, if the matchmakers and powers-that-be want it so. I'm the second youngest of my siblings, so I'm not one set to inherit the family responsibilities or business." Not that it bothered her at all, as she loved her family dearly and wouldn't want to have that responsibility!

"So either as a posting, or a marriage. We shall see! Sometimes it's exciting to not divine the future to see what might happen."

“Oh! I hope you get to stick around, then. I have enjoyed your presence here.” She looks between both Kanna and Ichitaiyo, a smile growing. “Both of you. I have enjoyed both of your presence.”

Though, the mention of marriage makes the voice of her mother scream in her head. Well, in the overactive imagination sense.

"Do you want to leave it to chance?" she asks, leaving the air open again but shaking her head. "I mean to say that we could arrange something here and now. If you wish to be posted here, considering the Dragon's willingness to send you here on this errand, I do not see why I could not file some papers and speak with those I might to nudge decisions to be made in favor of that outcome. I'm certain if I speak with enough of the right people I could get that put into the ultimate and final deal, whatever that might be, between the Crab and the Dragon. Whether it be through a marriage, or through just a posting here, I can tailor my request I would make to however you would most wish it be, Tamori-san."

"I hope so too! And Ichitaiyo-san too - I can't imagine anyone else from the Dragon I'd like to have here," she beamed happily as she praised her fellow Dragon. "Apart from my own family that is, but I'm happy we've become friends so fast."

Kanna was taken aback a bit at how swiftly Honoka could move and arrange things (though not in a negative way, just wowed!). "So... oh, wow." She hadn't thought that things would move so fast. "I appreciate it, Yasuki-sama! I certainly trust any input and aid you could have. Though, any matchings would have to go through the matchmaker for the best outcome, no?"
