D7LA, Is *This* a Date? (Expecting, but Open, sure)

[Miya Kisha]

"Well," Kisha says, "maybe some other people might."

She smiles. "You never do know what will attract people's attention, after all."

[Bayushi Hinata]

"Well, in that case. Iam an open book! What would you like to know?" He opens his arms in a disarming gesture.

[Miya Kisha]

"Well, first off, what do you hope to get to do next?"

Kisha sits back with her coffee, sipping at it as he answers.

[Bayushi Hinata]

"Iam unsure. I guess it depends on how things turn up by the end of this little trip. If the scorpion earn the partnership the most likely corporation to set up shop will be the Orchid Department, with Bayushi Kazushi-sama as regional overseer. It'd mean I'd potentially remain here in for the foreseeable future."

"If not... or if I'm not required to remain, I would probably follow behind Kazushi or Senshuken-sama. Maybe see if we could get Kotori-san's bussiness as tech support for the Orchid Department and officialize our cooperative work."

[Miya Kisha]

"I like Bayushi Kazushi," Kisha says. "He's pleasant to talk with, and he's interesting.

"But on the partnership, what do you think the odds are that the Scorpion will secure it?"

[Bayushi Hinata]

"From my understanding. Very."

He nods politely to the server as his cappuccino is brough before them.

"There's consisten progress, well placed deals. Unless soemthing drastic changes in the following days Iam pretty certain the partnership will remain with us."

[Miya Kisha]

"Well, congratulations, then," Kisha says. "And there would be worse places to be stationed over the long term than this, I'm sure.

"Although where Kazushi will put his pied-à-terre, I don't know."

[Bayushi Hinata]

"I think he could very well relocate here. He has a young boy after all. He may want to raise him in a gentler world."

He takes a sip of his coffee, savouring it for a moment before continuing.

"I guess you're right. Maybe I'll continue to work closely with the governor and karo. I'll have to defend my title as Oshidama King!" He smiles cheerfully.

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha chuckles.

"Long may you reign!" she says.

Then she sighs, places her empty cup and its saucer on the table.

"This has really been lovely, Bayushi-san," she says. "I really have enjoyed getting to talk with you."

[Bayushi Hinata]

"Likewise." The smile is warm as the coffee.

"If I do end up here permanently. Do feel free to visit. And if not, I hope we run into each other again on a different world."

[Miya Kisha]

"I'd like that," Kisha replies.
