by Kakita Haruhi
Haruhi organized a party on the beach for anyone who wanted to do drone duels!
There was music and juice provided. Plus the music of Sky Blue when it took the air.
She had on her white beach hat.

Sumiko, having been invited, heard the music before she got close. There was a smile as she drew close.
"Good morning Kakita-sama" she bowed "I hope you are well?"

It doesn't take long for a familiar to both women bike to stop nearby. Senshu rolls up to the beach in a spray of sand, her bike purring down to a lazy rumble as she brakes just shy of the driftwood line. She lifts her helmet in that trademark way of hers. Chin tilted, fingers sliding up the sides, the whole motion slow enough to qualify as a boast. Her hair spills out, wind catching it immediately. She smirks, of course she smirks, swings a leg off the bike with a loose, confident grace and starts walking toward the two women waiting by the dunes.

Haruhi smiled. "Good morning, Susumu-san." She returned the bow. "I am well. And looking forward to our outing with the jimen tori avi-drone this afternoon. I really appreciate your help!"

She turns at the sound of the bike. A very bright smile. An enthusiastic wave.
"Good morning, Senshu. I am so glad you could come! I've been practicing everything that you showed me."

"I'm quite excited for the Jimen drone too" Sumiko nodded with a bigger smile "I spent most of yesterday evening and this morning reviewing the code, I'll bring my portable computer with us to perform some live ground testing. Better to be safe and secure when it comes to the future of the Jimen tori right?"
She noticed someone else be motioned at by the Kakita and turned, then gave the Scorpion a bow.
"Ah Bayushi-sama! I should have known the soon to be Drone champion would want to be here" she chuckled.

Senshuken offers one gracious bow to each lady along with a smirk. This is a tricky situation. She should be careful so that no one walks away with her ego hurt.
With three egos to protect, she greets the. "Good morning, Haruhi san. Susumu san." She follows the way each of them decided to handle the name calling in this situation. "It is lovely meeting you here. How is your day going so far?"

Haruhi smiled.
"Going well! Susumu-san and I have been working on a jimen tori drone. It's ready for testing this afternoon. It's going to help lead the jimen tori to their place of thriving that we found. A hidden freshwater lake full of fish inside the mountain."
"Do you want some juice?" She offers cups to both of them.
"Who wants to duel first? Perhaps you two should have a go?"

Cleaned up from the earlier evening, Taraka headed over to the beach from the announcement of people looking to gather. With her she had Coin's Edge.
She bowed to the assembled group.

"Welcome, Yasuki-san! I think I've learned some new tricks since we last dueled. With four of us, we can have two matches running at a time!"

Taraka bowed.
"It's been too long, Kakita-san. I have missed your company, but these days are filled with our Duty are they not?" she said. "Would you care to face off against me, then perhaps if we have time have the two winners and the two losers face off?"

"It has been too long! How have you been? Any news in your world?"
"I'd be glad to duel." She pulled out Sky Blue and sent her up into the air.

Taraka sent her own drone up as well.
"It's been busy the last few days." she admitted. "But some very good times. Riding along with Bayushi-san over there as she tied for first in the rally was certainly a highlight. I'm still hopefully that we can see some good come of our business dealings. Ah, also, make some time for me tomorrow, Kakita-san. For one, we want people to gather at the store to hand out the league's trophies, and I have something I need to give you on top of that."

The Scorpion watches the duel in front of her with great interest. In the end she claps her hands once. "An excellent show! Congartulations, Haruhi san. You could easily go pro!" She winks playfully to her.

Sumiko watched the battle while taking her own drone out of the bag. It looked close!
"Ready when you are Bayushi-sama. Not that I expect to be good competition to the soon to be champion" she chuckled.

She also takes her drone out and prepares the banner before she has it take off.
"I won't be sticking around after all." She says to Sumiko while the otger two women are engaged with their drones.

Sumiko launched up her drone, making sure it was stable before speaking.
"Ah, unfortunate" she gave Senshuken a sympathetic look "want to discuss what happened later?"
As they got into the battle, it would be very clear to Senshuken that the drone had considerable work to make it sleeker and quicker, and the driver too had improved. Not enough to defeat someone with far more natural skill like Senshuken had, but Sumiko gave a far better showing than their previous bouts.

She nods. "I can't get into lots of details but I'd like a sympathetic ear. I messed up big time."
With that said she focuses on her drone. Senshu also seems better than the first times they did this and serious engineering work seems to have been done to the very basic model she had initially purchased.
"Fortunes! You have worked a lot, Sumiko san, and the result is telling." She grins.

"Tomorrow" Sumiko said quietly as they got into the battle. She was impressed with the work Senshuken had done also, and when her flag was taken and fell down there was less disappointment than previously.
"You're too kind" Sumiko bowed deeply "thank you. The result is still the same though, even if I gave you a better challenge than previously. I've enjoyed really getting into the design of the drone and working on it, it's something I'll keep doing I think."
