Kisha once again makes her way out to where Dento-no-gimu is stabled and begins to brush down the animal, apologizing to it for not being there more often. "It's not like Anadan, I know," she says, patting the pony's neck as she goes about the tasks.

In the meanwhile 220 horses can be heard at the nearby road. They are not neighing, but roaring. The beautiful sound of what humans and machines can achieve together.

Kisha smiles, thinking that it's likely one of the women she's met here, and she saddles Dento, mounting with practiced ease.

She trots the horse out to see who it is that approaches, shading her eyes in the morning sunlight.

What she sees is a sports motorbike approaching. The rider is fully suited up. Black and crimson. The shade of her helmet is down. She seems to be slowing down and she stops away enough not to scare the horse.

Senshuken plants one foot on the ground to lean the bike against it. "Is this my favorite Miya?" She asks from afar.

For her part, Dento-no-gimu looks at the bike with a typically horselike expression.

For her part, Kisha smiles and gives a bow from the saddle.

"I'm not sure, Bayushi-san," she says, recognizing the voice easily enough. "I don't know how many Miya you know, after all."

She opens the shade of her helmet and it's evident from the wrinkles on the sides of her eyes that she's grinning. "Less than I should if they are all as excellent as the one and only Miya Kisha san. Do you happen to know her, Miya Stranger san?"

"I'm sure she'd be flattered to have people talking about her that way," Kisha says. "But I'm familiar with her, at least. She's been known to go out riding at this time of day. Maybe after this horse," and she pats Dento's neck, "gets to stretch her legs a bit, we might see if we can't find her!"

The shisha's tone is remarkably peppy. Being astride the pony seems to suit her.

She takes her helmet off and smirks. "Can your horse carry two people? Mine refuses to go on casual off road rides. It roars in existential befuddlement."

Kisha chuckles.

"She might be able to, if we go slow," she says in response to the question. "Have you ridden before, Bayushi-san? If not, I'll let you know, it takes more than people realize."

"I know. I had a few lsessons as a child. I will manage." She parks the bike and kills the engine. Soon she's waiting by the bike for Kisha to reach her.

Kisha gently prods Dento, and the pony ambles up to the Bayushi, taking the chance to sniff at her a bit before turning at the Miya's gentle pull on the reins.

She extends a hand to Senshuken, ready to bring her onto Dento's back behind her.

"It's been a while since I've ridden double," says the shisha. "It'll be good to get the practice in."

She allows the pony to smell her as much as it needs and takes a moment to look at it herself. "Such a noble creature." She comments and takes the Miya's hand.

She gets comfortable behind her. "It's very sweet that you brought it with you. A boy or a girl? Name?"

Kisha takes a moment to get used to the sensation of warmth on her back before she answers.

"Dento-no-gimu here is a mare," she says, patting the horse's neck again and gently prodding the pony forward. Dento ambles along easily enough, making little of the tamed terrain.

"And duty demands she come along with me," Kisha continues. "I've also got my horo here, in case there's cause for it. I doubt there will be, but you never do know."

She turns her head to the side. "What about your bike?"

She makes sure that she doesn't touch Kisha more than it is absolutely necessary. She would never invade anyone's personal spaces uninvited.

"It's a rental." She replies. "My bikes are back home. Impatiently waiting for my return. It's not easy to get them from one world to another and even if you do there are maintance challenges. Different weather conditions. Temperature, atmosphere..."

Kisha nods at that.

"I've had some experience," she says. "Every world smells different. Anadan was grassy and dusty. Bunabayashii smelled of the peppers they grow there."

She chuckles.

"Dento was not fond of that planet. Not at all. Still went, though. There, I actually did have to make a formal presentation, which the boats made interesting."

She turns her head to look back again. "Are you okay back there? You can sit closer, if it will help you."

She relaxes her posture. Accidental little bumps while galloping don't bother the Imperial. That's better, more relaxing.

"It's different, I suppose. I call them my babies, I take good care of them, but they are bikes. Machines. I don't keep them long, except for one. I'll keep that for ever. It's different with Dento chan over here. She must be a friend, a partner in crime, I fugure."

"Partner in crime?" Kisha says, her tone aghast but the smile on her face clear and broad. "Bayushi-san, Dento is the mastermind behind the crimes!"

She laughs.

"Tell me about this bike you'll keep forever," she adds. "Your first victory bike?"

Senshu laughs, as well.

"No, no. She's as old as it gets and she has never raced. It's the bike I learnt how to drive with. My dad gave it to me. It was his first bike, as well."

"Very important, then," Kisha says, nodding. "And worth preserving.

"What's her name?"

She laughs even before answering that. "Minori. My father's childhood sweetheart apparently."

"How did you decide on Dento's name?"
