Fantasy Flight is a major component of contemporary popular culture. Miya Kisha knows this. And so Miya Kisha is watching proceedings, taking notes and recording events, all in service of her next piece.

Interviews will, of course, be appreciated.

There was the sound of a conversation that was happening at one of the alcoves, where people could take their smoke breaks. Considering the Yasuki weren't exactly about smoking ventilation, the area wasn't completely enclosed.

"...yeah, but isn't there anything else you could do?"
"Seriously? Just like that? We're not done here. Hey, you fucking owe me."
"That doesn't matter, you're the one who pissed it away, we had an agreement."

"...Hello? Hello?! Fuck!"

Kisha turns her holodrone to get some general footage and approaches.

"Yasuki-san," she says, "is everything okay?"

When Kisha approached the smoking alcove, Kaito crushed his cigarette in the designated ashtray and pocketed his communicator in a huff.

"Oh, whoa, heeey!" Kaito would exclaim when Kisha unexpectedly appeared to him, acting his casual best, like it was just water down his back.

He would grin broadly and give Kisha the double finger guns. "There's my favourite Miya around here! The dazzling Miya-san! Yeah, yeah, everything's just fine, fam. Everything's great, no cap. How are you? It's been a while since we've talked! I was going to hit up your communicator, but I've been very busy."

"Oh," Kisha says. "O-okay."

She bows.

"I'm glad things are going well for you, then, Yasuki-san," the Miya will add. "And I'm sorry if I bothered you."

"Nah, nah," he scoffed and waved off the concern as he stepped out of the alcove, trying to get a sense of what Kisha was doing herself. "If anything, you're more or less someone I want to run into. Finally, some good company around here. The last few days have been pretty stressful. Always happy to see a pretty face again. I'm sure you know about that Edge of Darkness coverage, huh? I'm so glad that's over and done with."

"Heh, whatamess" He gave a shake of his head, looking like he had just survived an ordeal that nearly cost him his life.

"How about you? Gathering a view of the tower?" He asked as he slowly glanced around. "Right, getting coverage on that card game?"

"Mostly the latter," Kisha replies. "There's a lot that gets wrapped up in this kind of thing, as you know. Lots of money, sometimes illicit, in deck-building and prize support. Why, I've even heard of money-laundering going on with it...and all the things that get associated with it. But I'm sure Yasuki-san is far removed from such...scurrilous things."

She'll look over the card-games in progress. "I only dabble in the game, myself. It's part of why I'm up here and not in the pit, there. There're only so many times a day I'm pleased to embarrass myself for content, and this morning offered all of them I could want."

Evidently, she sees someone she knows do well, because the Miya's fist raises in a little gesture of "success" before she turns back to Kaito.

"And I'm glad you think I've got a pretty face." Kisha grins. "Yours isn't bad, itself."

"Hah!" Kaito couldn't help but snicker at that thought, no matter how likely true it might be. "Laundering at events like this? I imagine that some people would have to be pretty socially savvy to grease wheels like that."

Vaguely implying that the people who played such games might not have much keenness for anything else. That said, at a glance, Kaito found himself proven wrong when there were quite a bit well-adjusted samurai as card players. Well, maybe not that edgy Kuni one over there...

"Sometimes you can't always be the centre of your own fame, so I get that approach. Don't get famous from your own supply, or something," he smirked, cobbling that proverb on the spot.

"I got a face for the informator," he grinned back broadly at the returned compliment. "But bigger hands for backstage."

On that note, he snapped his fingers at something he just remembered. "Hey, before I forget, and this is super short notice but how would you like to be on the informator tomorrow? I've managed to scrap together a time slot on 'Sunset Hour'. I'm hoping to drag over the governor or karo, or both, over to a restaurant. Do a personality spotlight. You should come by and check it out. If you're bold, maybe even join them."

"I'm listening," Kisha says. "What kind of spotlight? What restaurant?

"I mean," she continues, "I'm happy to help with a lot of things, but going in blind won't help me help you. Not that someone like you needs the help, of course, but an extra set of eyes or an extra set of hands is always appreciated, isn't it?"

Just checking to see if this is the coming bid event or something in an adjacent slot.

After his loss in the semi-finals, Kazushi heads out into the audience area and, spotting someone he knows, makes his way over. With a bow to Kisha and a Crab he thinks he remembers from the Pink Lotus the night he arrived, the Scorpion invites himself into the conversation.

"A restaurant? A spotlight? This does sound interesting indeed..."

"Bayushi-san!" Kisha says, bowing. "What a delight to see you again! Have you met Yasuki Kaito?"

"Not directly, but I do recall seeing him on the night we arrived," Kazushi replies. "You were speaking with Hinata-san at the bar, if I remember correctly?"

Kaito would turn his attention to the approaching Bayushi and bow to greet him.

"Good afternoon and well met, Bayushi-sama," he said as he reached into his coat pocket to take out a business card.

He presented his card formally to the Bayushi. "Yasuki Kaito, Executive Producer at the Silver Fin Productions, Tango Province Office. Yes, I've had the pleasure of meeting your associate, Bayushi Hinata-san. Great guy but I haven't seen him around as of late. But yeah, just to bring you up to speed, I'm putting together a quick restaurant spotlight at Crabkaku with either the governor or karo involved. Hoping Miya-san could potentially join as a guest but I'm not going to say no to either help or if people want to observe, catch some residual content for their own work. I'll be a great time."

He drew out his communicator and did a quick check of the schedule. "Tomorrow, about late afternoon."

"Crabkaku?" Kisha replies. "Late afternoon tomorrow? I can do that."

She nods.

"I can certainly do that. Let me make a note."

She pulls out her device, taps it a few times.

Kazushi's own business card is presented in return.

"Bayushi Kazushi, Orchid Department design and marketing executive," he replies. "Hinata-san has been keeping himself quite busy of late with some important tasks, but I'm sure he'll turn up again eventually. Crabkaku's a good choice for a spotlight - good food and good atmosphere. I might pop in, if for no other reason than to enjoy another of Honoka-san's crab cakes."

"Good stuff, good stuff," he nodded in approval as Kisha was receptive to the idea.

"Bayushi Hinata-san, busy?" He smirked at first before giving a nod of approval. "That's good to hear! You know, he was trying to get his bearings when he landed on the Green Carp. I gave him something of a pep talk, and I'd like to think that I at least partially inspired him to be busy around here. Good to see he's going at it, hah."

"Oh, just to bring you into the circle, Bayushi-sama," he said with a glance to Kisha for a moment. "I'm kind of an honorary local of these parts, I'm also the immediate cousin of both Ayame-chan and Umiko-san too."

"I see, I see," Kazushi replies. "Well, I must offer my thanks for helping Hinata-san find his motivation. As I already have a dedicated bodyguard, I don't know that I would have been able to keep him occupied on my own."

"No sweat at all, Bayushi-sama! I'm just trying to help people find their way and enjoy themselves. From the looks of it, it seems the Scorpion Clan have all of their hands on deck. Very impressive showing," he nodded. "Nobody is resting on their alliances, it seems."
