In the bid event (Chapter 3: The Blood War) I'm guessing Benten's Blessing can't be used for these?
Also do you have to use 3 different skills, or can you use the same skill 3 times?

I assume we are using the last Bid totals from the end of session 1 / Day 3? So any bid points gained during D4 are not used to determine highest/lowest bid points, right?

Are the rolls repeatable, or can you only do each roll once?

Can we do RP threads in the locations we are rolling for in the LARP event? E.g. if I'm rolling for Residential district, am I ok to post an RP thread there in same timeslot?

Are the sincerity (deceit) and temptation (seduction) rolls in larp event contested for the purposes of the Bayushi courtier rank 1 tech? I don't want to overreach and ask for the courtier (manipulation) one

Also! Can jiujitsu/agility be used instead of the melee weapon skill/agility in the Fan Con?

Aha, the afterparty <3. A bit of background lore, there's always been an afterparty at Fan Con for volunteers, although it hasn't actually been played out and mentioned in the background instead. Asako Chiruha hosted an afterparty and tried not to eat too much because she had dinner with a friend after. Bayushi Mariko was too cool to attend the afterparty and went to watch a concert instead (and bumped into Usagi Rei, all part of her keikaku muhaha). I'm not so sure if we get enough volunteers interested in such a scene but by all means, open a thread if you wish!

The afterparty would likely take place at Tama Izakaya, the whole upstairs is reserved for them, mid-evening.

Yes, the event is determined by Bid standings at the end of Day 3. People can't gift Bid Points immediately, so that another Clan is at the top or bottom.

Yes, a location can be rolled more than once with the same roll. The event is kind of a "King of the Hill/Hold the Zone" sort of event. Might need some point tracking on the side, actually.

Yes! I wasn't sure about the interests for an RP thread, and it would be all over the city. So long as it's LARP related, you can make a thread in the same timeslot.

If the game masters catch you playing Flying Battle Carps instead, they're going to be quite upset!

I'll allow them 1 Free Raise for Wile [Sincerity (Deceit)/Awareness or Temptation(Seduction)/Awareness] as it feels in the Scorpion Clan wheelhouse. I'm just going to say Revere [Courtier(Manipulation)/Awareness or Acting/Awareness.] doesn't qualify, for reasons, that's more Crane Clan like.

The bid event is mid-evening, don't suppose it could be EE instead so it doesn't clash with the LARP event?

Sorry to ask but the bid event on D5 is early morning (so LE would need to be a sleep timeslot as it's 4 slots for a full night sleep) is it possible for it to be EE? I don't want to assume the bid event that's EM could be moved.

If not it's ok! Just thought I'd ask

Fan Con enigma room question!

Players of the game may make up to 5 rolls using either Hunting(Trailblazing)/Perception, Athletics (Throwing)/Strength, Lore: Shadowlands/Intelligence, Artisan: Ikebana/Awareness, or any Melee Weapon Skill/Agility at TN15. If they pass three skill rolls, they succeed in returning to the Wall. However, each skill can only be used once. In their roll, they may call 2 Raises and if successful, this reduces the requirement to two successful skill rolls. After 5 skill roll attempts, if the player cannot achieve the required successes, they are considered lost in the Shadowlands (by the game's narrative).

About the bolded line--to get out with just two rolls, do you need to successfully call 2 raises on each of those two rolls? Or two raises on just one of the rolls?

Unlucky trigger on FanCon or Bid Event on Day 4?
