"A little I think, but she adapted. The Akodo are not Matsu and the Shinjo are not Utaku." Suh-Hyun looks back out into the sea, admiring the sun's reflection. "Dad and her got along quite well, which helps a lot."
"I'm not sure if I would call it career first," She smiles meekly, "I guess I'm like the horses that roam the plains of Shinjo's Grace. Running wild and free on the great open fields."
Suh-Hyun mumbles to herself, "I do like that Hiruma though, he's an interesting fellow."
Ochiba pulls out her communicator and starts grinning as she re-reads a message.
"You told me you weren't a horse, but maybe if you met another equally good...horse? I dunno horse romance, but you could make a nice herd? They have herds right? Or like, don't, running around as a lone horse sounds pretty sweet. Well, I'm not a Matsu or an Utaku, thank the fortunes. So maybe it'd work for me too, if I ever wanted to, which I don't, obviously."
Ochiba nods definitively as she settles back in her seat, gazing out over the water.
"Either way, yeah, maybe a little vacation place here, somewhere private and to stay between voyages. Probably work out easily unless they discover something really valuable here."
The Mantis is clearly mulling things over.
"Well, we should be heading back to help out the nerds. Pretty sure I have the edge downhill, so no need for a race back, unless you want to get smoked?"
