Yes, it is the Bon Festival on the 28th of Dog!

Totally not expecting players to supply the Departed, to be clear. Just the Toasts!
I admit I am somewhat relieved about that. I wondered.

About who exactly was going to be Departed and why. :P
I figured there was a high chance it would be a local ritual thing, but I also hesitated to assume!

The event list tells a rather forboding tale, I admit.

The event of WARGAMES then followed by a Toast to the Fallen. Both events are public IC information. We are expecting zero casualties in Wargames.

If there are...how?

Have you seen how much damage a spear carrying plastic miniature can do if you pick it up wrong?

That's not even getting into the dangers of stepping on one barefoot...

Imagine if the system uses D4s . . . .

Nor does shouting at the opponent for interpreting the rules a teensy bit different to your opinion.

Day 7 will start a few hours later than our usual time (I didn't set a time but I have been like clockwork on most Days). A combination of Weekend sleep-in morning (if I give myself that luxury) and a bigger day to set up.

Thank you for your patience!

Maybe *this* is where we get the Departed...

Now now Yasuki-san . . . we need to settle the Designated Hitter kerfuffle before you can light anyone up.

"Business' been fine. People like to think they are lucky and have money." She shrugged. "And test to see how long both hold."

She wriggled her toes in the water. "How did you find Fancon?"

The second dish. With time of the essence, the team used a pressure cooker to attempt to quickly braise the tough cut of meat, but unfortunately, it was difficult for the judges to enjoy. Luck simply was not on their side. "Braised Oxen Short Rib, served with a pungent anchovy and caper seasoned tomato sauce, foraged yamagobo, and microgreens. That's worth at least twenty more Cuisine Points, right? XD

Fu-" Kaito could only start to say, but suddenly he found himself missing a tight turn.

His car went off the road, suddenly finding itself rolling down a steep hill of shrubs and tall overgrown grass. The brakes refused to obey as the car would seemingly descend to the bottom of the mountain. However, he would eventually be able to stop his vehicle, but not voluntarily, when the downhill path was halted when his car abruptly met a tree.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

As the car sat still in the dense clearing, a shadowed figure approached...

But who is the shadowed figure? Was it.....

Yasuki Taraka: "Nothing personal Kaito, it's just business."
Tamori Kanna: "Your death was in the cards it seems."
Yoritomo Ochiba: *Plays air guitar on top of the wreck*
Miya Kisha: "Hey fam! Here's some KILLER new content!"
Kitsuki Ichitaiyo: "The hardest part of starting a PI business is getting new clients. Sometimes you've got to *wheeze pant* do it yourself."

The shadowy figure kidnapping everyone is Crabbo. I'm sorry I haven't kept him on a proper leash, he gets bored.
