"I..."

Kisha very nearly pants the word.

"I'm...not sure," she manages to get out. "This...this is new for me."

"Will you let me know if you ever are? Sure?" She whispers again.

Another shiver, stronger, passes over Kisha as Senshuken continues to whisper in her ear.

"I...I don't even...what...what can I do?"

"Whatever you want. You can let go and do exactly that. Whatever you want, consequences be damned." She adds softly and leans back.

"Do we take a break? This seems like a nice spot. I might have a chocolate bar to share." She suggests in her normal tone this time.

"A break?"

Kisha shakes her head, the gesture reminiscent of a horse shaking water off of itself--and mimicked by Dento, who is likely somewhat bemused by the antics on her back.

"Um, yeah. Sure. A break. Let me help you down," she says, and she turns again, offering her hand to Senshuken.

"I can eat on horseback, but it's always better to not," she adds. "And Dento could probably use a break. Right, girl?"

The pony nods.

"Thank you." She takes her hand and keeps it a moment too long before stepping down. A second softer bump is heard after the one produced by her boots touching the ground. Senshu bends down and produces a pouch. "Is this yours?" She asks.

Kisha pats herself where she normally keeps her coin pouch.

Then she blushes a bit.

"It is," she says, and she dismounts. "Thank you," she adds, extending her hand again.

Kisha's thoughts are...not in order at the moment.

She extends her hand toward Kisha instead of offering the pouch, letting their fingers weave together as she steps closer. Then she glances at the pouch still in her other hand, lifts her eyes and lets her gaze, warm and self assured settle on Kisha’s. In the narrow space between them, she offers the pouch once more.

"People can also kiss on horseback, but it's always better to not. Or so I think." She says.

"I..."

Kisha swallows hard.

"I've never tried...either way," she manages to say.

Dento snorts, the smart-alec.

"Could you...show me?"

Senshuken quietly slips the pouch onto Dento’s back behind Kisha, her movements slow enough not to disturb the fragile moment. Her hand lifts slowly until her fingertips meet Kisha’s cheek with the lightest touch.

She follows the curve of her jaw, the warm line of her neck, tracing her way upward again until her fingertip rests at Kisha’s lips. Senshuken leans in just a little, her breath as soft as a feather, catching her own lower lip between her teeth before letting it go.

With her eyes closing now, she moves the final breath closer and offers a kiss as gentle as a sigh. Patient, soft and utterly careful.

Once again, Kisha shivers under the touch, and gooseflesh rises across her body.

She closes her eyes and, after half a heartbeat of stiffness at the new and unaccustomed touch on her lips, begins to relax into it.

Her own hand rises, seeking something that it does not know. What it finds is Senshuken's shoulder--she thinks it's her shoulder, she's not looking, she's not sure if she should look, but the feeling of the other woman's flesh under her hand is not much less welcome than the lips pressing her own.

Senshuken’s eyes open, just barely to check the clearing around them. No travellers. Only the soft drift of leaves and the very obvious, very nosy pony pretending not to stare.

Her eyes lower again, heat returning as naturally as breath. Without breaking the kiss, she guides Kisha backward and gently steers her toward the shade of a nearby tree. The moment Kisha’s back reaches the trunk, Senshuken’s body follows, close but careful, lips never leaving hers.

One hand cups her cheek and the warm edge of her neck. The other settles at her hip with a claiming steadiness. Then Senshuken draws back just enough for air and mischief. “Not in front of the kid." She murmurs and flicks a glance at Dento.

A smirk curls her mouth. Her most spectacularly, hopelessly sexy brand of idiocy. And she leans in again. This time her kiss is deeper, warmer, the restrained fire is given now permission to start burning.

Dento ostentatiously looks the other way.

Kisha, however, opens her mouth to Senshuken's, and her hand finds its way to the Bayushi's own hip, doing her best to mirror what the clearly more experienced woman is doing.

She tries to be a good student, after all.

After long moments of kissing turning intense and soft again, she draws away to look at her. One fingertip brushes her lips. "They are so soft. Like a promise. And tastier than sin." She whispers. "Was that what you wanted?"

Kisha takes a moment to catch her breath before answering.

"I never...knew I did," she says, and she leans heavily against the tree.

"I mean, I knew I wanted something," she continues. "I just didn't know that that was it."

She breathes heavily, not gasping but not far from it. "Is that...what you meant by 'hunting?'"

"It was a poor choice of words for this. Forgive me." She looks between them momentarily and then she gets lost in her eyes again. "This is art. Poetry. Our own perfect renga taking form while our hearts only beat to pen another verse and another."

"Then..." Kisha breathes. "Is there another line for us to write?"

She leans in for another kiss. As many as Kisha wants.

Soft giggles between
long kisses, whispered secrets
Lips learning new joys

The tree hums with their rhymes
Dento snorts approvingly
