Did Ichitaiyo, like, not eat? Because anyone could feel those bones if they squeezed too hard, and might pop a couple if Kanna tried.

Ichitaiyo hugged tightly in return closing her eyes and letting a soft sob go, her chest filled with a joy so alien, thought lost to her, hope finally allowing her to see life in color, those slate eyes reflecting the green of the pocket shugenya before her. The Inspector didn't have to stand up to meet her friend face to face.

"You're most welcome, Ichitaiyo," she said warmly and gave another good squeeze before she let go so that she could wipe her eyes.

With that done, she changed the topic to lighten the mood, her voice a cheerful tone. "And goodness! We need to put some weight on you! How else are you going to get some muscles?"

Ichitaiyo snerked and leant back on the couch, wiping her own tears before pushing asides some hair that covered her face. "I guess I am a bad eater. I have the bad habit of just breakfasting a coffee. I guess this means you'll take me out to eat soon?"
