[Moto Shiwahime]

The Moto had taken a healthy chug of her beer before turning to the Kaiu's interview

''Well...he passed. I won't shame him for that, that's for sure.''

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha nods.

"I'm not sure about the interviewer's technique, though," she comments. "Seems an awfully good way to lose the chance for comments."

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Or accidentaly slip on a boot up your arse" she added with a grin

[Miya Kisha]

"That sounds uncomfortable," Kisha replies as the part in her hair widens ever so slightly.

[Yasuki Taraka]

Taraka nodded.

"The question is really more in the spirit of the show's previous format." she offers.

She looks at the stage thoughtfully.

"They'll probably edit that out of the final broadcast." she said, considering the disruption of tradition.

[Miya Kisha]

Kisha nods.

"So few people realize how much of production is editing," she says. "With the Comments, I get maybe, maybe five minutes of talk time; that comes out of hours of footage and more than that of paring things down and splicing things together so that they make sense."

She looks to her interlocutors. "I shouldn't complain, and I'm not complaining. But I am saying it."

[Utaku Itsuka]

"Well I certainly gave it my best!" Suh-Hyun chuckled and rubbed her own bottom, "That mechanical beast kicked more then I expected. The ancestors are probably furious with me."

If the Shinjo and Moto locked eyes at any point, Suh-Hyun would give her a thumbs up from across the room.

But her attention was focused on the Utaku, "It wouldn't do for any of us to be slow! Better fast and with a sore bottom then slow!" She adds lower, "That water was really disgusting though, like really nasty. I am taking another shower back at the embassy. Maybe two."

The Utaku shook her head slightly, face supportive, enthusiastic embers still burning in her eyes. "Well, it was also our ancestors who switched most of our training to focus on mechanical beasts - and not this kind. And still we've done rather well... sludge aside!"

An almost full-grown grin is covering her lips now. Seeing the Shinjo face elsewhere and send a thumbs up, she follows her gaze, waves at the Moto, then raises two fingers showing the 'victory!' sign.

"Well... a good shower and a wardrobe change and we'll be soaring again! You will be there for Oshidama later, right?"

[Moto Shiwahime]

''No way'' Damn that was a lot work for nothing ''Well...I guess that's the type of business''

She frowned

''I guess a lot of work is like that...a lot of build-up for a brief moment of action.''

[Yasuki Taraka]

Taraka chuckled a bit.

"Whether it's a siege of enemies outside the castle walls, or a crush of customers pressing up against the glass right before a big holiday sale, the waiting: that mix of boredom, anticipation, and dread remain." she offered. "Though at least with the customers, the odds of someone bashing skulls with a hammer is significantly lower....not zero, mind, but still much lower." she said recalling a retail incident.

[Shinjo Suh-Hyun]

Suh-Hyun's smile turned into a grin at seeing the enthusiasm in the Utaku's expression, "Well obviously...but I am not very good at it." She bounces on her toes a bit, "Just have this raw talent to call on really." A little wink and another thumbs up this time to Itsuka.

"But shower and change way before that, grabbed a new bathing suit recently. A memento of my time here, well one of them."

"I feel like there's a story there, Yasuki-san," Kisha says. "Is it morbid of me that I kind of want to hear it?"

Taraka shook her head.

"I don't think so, Miya-san. It happened at one of those big sales Koi holds during the Winter months. There was a huge throng of people in the store, and all of a sudden, one of the customers produced a hammer from their purse and attacked another customer." she explained.

"Who--" Kisha starts, then trails off a little.

"Who just carries a hammer in her purse?" she manages to ask. "That's kind of a weird accessory. Or is that a Tango thing, and I should be doing it while I'm here? Was that offensive?"

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Really?'' there could be much worse then a hammer ''Must have planned it...no one carries a hammer for no reason. But what kin of business do you do to have costumers hammering themselves over your products, Yaskuki-sama?''

[Yasuki Taraka]

Taraka laughs.

"Crabs and hammers, hm, Miya-san? I think that's more funny than offensive, but if you go around asking people to show you their hammer, you might get some weird looks....and pick up some weirder guys at the bar."

She shook her head.

"Not my business, Moto-san, this happened at Koi, the department store on Golden Shotengai, but it was the talk of the street for a bit. At first people really did think it was about the sale. Someone wanted something, someone else grabbed it first, and someone responded with a hammer to the head."

She paused a moment.

"But then it came out that the two were romantically involved."

[Miya Kisha]

"Romantically involved?" Kisha replies. "Now I'm confused. Is that how people are supposed to flirt here? And what kind of hammer means what kind of advance? Is it like hanakotoba?"

[Moto Shiwahime]

"I am not sure hitting people with hammers is a Crab courtship cultural tradition..." She turned to Taraka, prudent of making assumptions "...but it would be fine if it was. I don't kink shame..."

"...what happens in Crab bedrooms...or in public...between consenting adults...is not for me to judge."

I think I handled that well enough

"Romantically involved?" Kisha replies. "Now I'm confused. Is that how people are supposed to flirt here? And what kind of hammer means what kind of advance? Is it like hanakotoba?"

Benten have mercy on these two. It was all Taraka could do to not facepalm.

"Aha, no, Miya-san, that is not how people flirt around here," she said glancing at the Moto "Though your preemptive tolerance of our ways is appreciated."

She shook her head.

"No no, this was a falling out, allegedly. You know a 'How dare you cheat on me with that woman?' 'But I was only asking what she thought of buying this dress for you.' 'Oh, I'll fix you!'" Taraka said, giving the back and forth.

"Straight out of tv soap. Which probably should have tipped off security at the time, but there was a hammer in play and people around."

[Miya Kisha]

"Ohhh," Kisha says, nodding. "That makes more sense. Thank you; I was worried I was going to have to go to the hardware store all of a sudden."

[Moto Shiwahime]

''Ooooh, okay. That makes senses.'' she gave a nod ''But then again, what is it that you do Yasuki-sama?''
