This pairing seemed so intentional, it seemed. A game with two Idols (albeit one is a former-Idol) and two generally very attractive people.

Ayame was going to use the occasion and the eyes on the game to her advantage, immediately putting out a valiant effort to keep her crown as Oshidama Queen!

Umiko attempted to keep up and give it her all!

...admittedly, after a few bouts of really trying, she found herself exhausted. Even more so that she wasn't able to keep up and found herself stumbling on the sand.

While the quick Miya would jump from behind Shiwahime for a deviously effective defense, the Moto would aim to use her height and strength to her advantage with offensive smashes!
The smashes would be recovered by the lightning fast Kakita Artisan. Dashing around from corner to corner with panache. HE WAS EVERYWHERE THE BALL WAS!!!!!

He really knew this game, setting up his partner with the easy dunks for progression to the semis.

Hinata has already told me his roll, but I'll let him post it.
Hinata's body glistened with sunscreen and sweat, alooking a lot prettier than effective at the sport. Nonetheless his partner easily picks up the slack, lining up moves expertly for him to capitalize on.

"Amazing work Kakita-sama! Team "No SHirts Allowed"! He offered a high five as they are announced winners.

Oshidama 3 / Agility 3 for 16!

Average of 26! Passing onto the semi finals!

That Kaiu was putting on a surprisingly good show. Especially after Ochitsuka's last sand-strewn battle, many might feel they would not have enough for another hard-fought game.

They weren't quite ready to just drop the towel, though - maybe the power of the bum slap would still carry them through!

It would have been an insult to the Oshidama queen and her Karo to go easy on them by any metric. Hinata took full advantage of his height, able to set up spikes beyond the reach of their two competitors.

In due time the game is over. with 28 points Team No Shirts Allowed is victorious. The Scorpion extends a hand across the net to shake with their competitors.

"It was a tough match. It's an honor to have completed against you two." A warm smile across his face, chest heaving from the heat and exertion. "Great work yourself, Umiko-dono" that last bit he leaves only for himself and the Karo though.

Tetsu is amazed. He hadn't been sure that he would even qualify, and now here he is seeing governor who had started this entire scenario take part and have to face the team that beat her. Everyone is watching

So of course that's the moment for his play to suddenly regress toward the mean.

Hinata was nothing of not consistent it seemed. He took every opening, every move he matched, every play he completed. He held his cheeks in his hands in shock, turning beet red in front of the audience afte being slapped on it by one of the members from Usagi Drop! The audience was terribly shocked, and jealous at the same time.

An incredible showing by Team Shirtless!

Oshidama Finals! Oshidama 3 / Reflexes 3 for a solid 27!
