The check arrives, and the shisha does not bother to look at it before paying.

The scooter is not sleek. It's utilitarian, maybe a little cute. HItomi gestures, "hop on, easier if I keep to the front for steering." With the cargo rack behind, this wouldn't be the sort of wild ride in the holovids, where one was obligated to cling tight or risk a high velocity tumble.

That didn't mean one was obligated not to, the roads were still plenty bumpy! Once her passenger was aboard, Hitomi would settle at the front of the slim seat, pause a moment for everyone to settle and look back over her shoulder. "Ready?"

When everything is affirmative, she'll start the bike and they'll putter away into the Nakahama dusk.

Kisha's ridden double on small rides before. It's not a new thing, therefore, for her to straddle the scooter behind HItomi and hold close, arms around the Sparrow's waist. Her heart leaps a little in her chest, though whether from the sudden start or something else is uncertain, but she thinks she will look forward to doing this again.
