She blinked at the apology and was quick to lift a hand in a gesture to dismiss it. "Oh, no, no. No apologies needed, Tamori-san. I was curious and asked for your skills. The reading just caught me off guard, but it's been a while since I've had any such readings done. Surely, I might be taking such readings a little too literally, right?"

Umiko mustered a small smile at Kanna, hoping the small Dragon would agree with her.

[Moto Shiwahime]

Ichitaiyo levied a blank gaze upon the Moto. "Tell me four truths and a lie, and I'll tell you which is the lie." "As to why wait.. mere caution. I don't know more than what I told you. Could screw things up still."

The Moto grinned wide and agreed to the challenge

''I love putting the pedal to the max, I have a growing interest for theatre, I broke a man's pelvis once, I strangled a shark-ogre and my boss is a Death Priest.''

She turned her head in the other two women's direction

''Should we approach now?''

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

The Moto grinned wide and agreed to the challenge

''I love putting the pedal to the max, I have a growing interest for theatre, I broke a man's pelvis once, I strangled a shark-ogre and my boss is a Death Priest.''

She turned her head in the other two women's direction

''Should we approach now?''

Ichitaiyo nodded, leaving their little bubble to stand by the women. "So, how did it go?" She offered optimistically, still granting the Karo her choice of how much to reveal.

[Yasuki Umiko]

"Aha," she laughed softly and mustered a smile at the Kitsuki. "It was quite an interesting experience, Kitsuki-san. Kind of refreshing and enlightening. It certainly put some things into perspective and gave me some insight into my day. Tamori-san is quite an asset to your Clan. I should have known her talents sooner with her thoughtful gift to the governor."

"Aha," she laughed softly and mustered a smile at the Kitsuki. "It was quite an interesting experience, Kitsuki-san. Kind of refreshing and enlightening. Well, it was hard to feel calm when the portents were so loud and clear about incoming problems.

"I'm glad to hear, Taro-sama." Ichitaiyo responded with a gentle bow. "I highly appreciate Tamori-sama's presence with us, we compliment our skillsets and philosophies, allowing us to have a wide array of solutions at disposal. She is very personable and warm where others might find me too cold."

"Ah, yes..." Umiko couldn't help but meekly agree with the Kitsuki. It was admittedly true, considering it was between the little Dragon (admittedly with messages of doom but with a cute dog) and the porcelain masked Dragon. There was also that large frowning Unicorn too...

"But I'm sure that Kitsuki-san and Moto-san are also capable of much during their stay here, as assets to their Clans," she gingerly offered. "As a servant of the Province and the karo to the governor, is there anything I can do to perhaps provide some insight to your stay?"

Ichitaiyo crossed her arms and glanced up to Shiwahime. "Well, my friend here has been a bit lost among the alleys, and looks for the real scoop of where to have fun on the island. Think you could give her a tour? Her big strong arms give great hugs too."

If the Karo wanted to have a bodyguard for a while without telling anyone, this was as good as any excuse. up to her now.

[Moto Shiwahime]

Shiwahime was quite tired of the coy act. If there was danger then action would have to be taken...even if she suspected that something shameful might be in play

As she suspected that the magistrature was not involved.

"I..."

Then Ichitaiyo made her bid, surpising the unicorn

"...Huh...I...sure?"

[Yasuki Umiko]

"Eh?" Umiko said in surprise at first by the suggestion before smiling faintly. "It's unfortunate that Moto-san is lost on the island. We've done a great deal of sign work to ensure that our streets are very easy to navigate, and our bus service runs often throughout the day. I imagine that a good number of attractions can be found on the Harbourfront if you're looking for amusement. The Ferris wheel, the Koku, is pretty popular. If she wants a tour, I could potentially look into my schedule. When would it be best for you, Moto-san?"

"Let's see..." She said as she fished out her communicator from he purse to open up her schedule. After a beat, she would frown at something she found and look to the three who gathered here with some uncertainty.

"...If I can trouble everyone here, has anyone had experience with the Bon festival before?"

[Tamori Kanna]

While the others spoke, Kanna put away her deck and picked up Kaida, gently patting his head as she thought about the omens of the cards.

"Ah, Kitsuki-san is too kind. I am merely doing my best for the Dragon!"

Her head cocked to the side. "Bon festival? Hai, many times! Everyone celebrates it still, no?"

[Yasuki Umiko]

"We do, yes," she nodded on the matter, "We actually have a celebration event at the temple where we toast the fallen, with the aid and cooperation of the local monks. However, our staff is a little short-handed on those who are more spiritually-versed, let's say."

It was hard to count on the local Kuni, as most of them weren't exactly bothered by things culturally spiritual but were more interested in things blatantly spiritually harmful. There was a wide canyon between the two.

"We were hoping that potentially a little more could be done with that?" She said, looking a bit hopeful. "Is that something anyone here would be interested in?"

[Tamori Kanna]

"Oh, oh! I'd love to help! Really really, I do," Kanna already forgot the bad omens, and was super-excited. "Anything that needs done, I'm ready to help out!"

One arm let to of Kaida (still securely held) to pump the air with her fist.

Umiko was admittedly a bit trepidatious in asking Kanna about this. This was the first time they spoke at length and a part of her wondered if she was going to pull her cards out to find her answer. It was a bit of a silly thought but that reading did leave her a bit shaken. At the end of the day, the Dragon were allies to the Crab and she should be able to count on that relation at least. And the Unicorn seemed to have wanted to help with something earlier.

"Is that fine with you?" Umiko said with a lift of her brows, her mood perking up at the prospect of an administrative task being taken from her agenda, at least.

She dipped in a bow to show her thanks. "I would very much appreciate your help, Tamori-san. If you could do anything, no matter how small, it would add much to the festival. I'm more than happy to loan you any of the city's resources you might require. I also have some connections to a few business owners here, so if you have something that ties into advertisement or wish to factor in a sponsorship, I could facilitate some meetings and have you acquainted with them."

[Kitsuki Ichitaiyo]

"I'll help. I might be quite spiritually dull, but I'm sure there is a place for organization and moving things around." The detective offered, after learning what this was about.

[Moto Shiwahime]

''I...'' she started, not sure of what to make of the turn in conversation ''...will help if I can but I'm not sure I can help spiritually. I don't have much knowledge in the matter and what I have are from priests of the Shi-Tien Yen-Wang. I am fairly sure you don't want that.''

[Yasuki Umiko]

"Thank you both," Umiko said as she gave both of them a bow. "Any sort of help would be appreciated. Perhaps Tamori-san could give us some guidance here? I don't expect everyone to officiate over the event, especially when it's personal for many people. Maybe have a hand in the cultural proceedings. Like, manage the displays or provide some guidance in the proceedings? The heart of the festival is spiritual, but I imagine that a bulk of the actual work must be in the footwork and rallying."

She looked through her communicator schedule again. "The festival is on the 28th of Dog (Day 11). I hope that's plenty of time. Of course, I won't be completely hands off, again, I can facilitate all things related to money, bringing in local businesses too if need be."

"This would truly be a weight off my shoulders," she let out a small sigh at that. "It would rescue me, almost."

[Moto Shiwahime]

Shiwahime scrached the back of her neck. That sounded like a lot of catching up to do...but she could make the time. Especially if Umiko would make place in her schedule for them to...hang out?

''I'm always up for a challenge. If you are already making room to show me around in your schedule...maybe we can use that time to look over the venue and check how it was done the previous years for pointers?''

[Yasuki Umiko]

Umiko gave a slow nod at the Moto's idea. "Of course, Moto-san. I would be more than help if it helps you acquaint yourself with the city and potentially gets you involved in helping with the festivities. Most of it was situated in the Harbourfront and the shopping street, from what I recall."

She considered the idea a little longer. "I could drive you around and show you a few places, perhaps? The buses are particularly efficient, too. I can guide you to getting a Tobiuo transit card. We recently had them redone with the input of local artisans. The ones feature Koi-kun in various outfits, depending on which machine you buy them from. If you get one from most bus stops, he'll be wearing a bus driver uniform but if you get it from Namigashira Bay, he'll be surfing. They're pretty location-based and collectable."

[Moto Shiwahime]

She really made it sound like Shiwahime was stupid... The Moto had no problem driving around and used the public transit twice already.

She held her tongue

''Considering we might want to incentivize people to come by public transport to minimize the risk of a traffic disaster, perhaps the bus system is the first thing to look at? Do you normally close streets?''
