Senshuken was certain that the woman would offer an affirmative response. The Hiruma had practically asked twice already and she seemed interested in him. Anyway. Not her job to worry about it.

"May it be the water or something in the air, I've only been here for a couple of days. I don't think that it has affected me. But sure, Hiruma san! Keep me in mind for your crew mate. Or a suitable clan mate around here. Just remember that I'm a catch and she has to be one, as well."

Now she had a little skip on her chest as the notion of a game was laid asides for a moment. To be desired, wanted.. it felt alien these years, it caught her on headlights, too visibly. She was glad the hot water could hide the gentle dusting on her cheeks.

Akito glanced at her, then looked a touch more sharply, his eyes narrowing. Then just as casually away, as though his gaze just happened to wander elsewhere. There was something about the Kitsuki... it felt like an open would. "May we indeed." He said, smile and voice both gentle.

Akito looked back at Ichitaiyo, his pale eyes narrowing thoughtfully. For a few moments, he was silent.

"I wonder..." He said, then he took a breath. "My brother devotes himself to duty. All samurai should, of course, but with him..." Akito took another deep breath. "He also seems to have a passion to excel. And he does, at nearly all he puts his mind to. Not quite everything."

He lifted one hand out of the pool, letting his fingers dangle, idly tracing patterns. "I suppose everyone has something. Or, almost everyone, perhaps...?" It was half a question, half a statement, as though he weren't sure which it should be.

"This is all very interesting," Akito began, smirking, "-but I think it may be overlooking the fact that my brother is a bit of a prick." He sighed. "A hard-working prick, I won't deny. But still."

He looked at Senshuken. "Besides, I'm not sure you really subscribe to the argument you're presenting. When you're racing your bike, I bet you don't often say 'oh, I could go faster, but this is fast enough', eh?" He grinned.

She is about to reply to the Dragon when the man makes a point that she can't counter. "Hai, hai. But this is... a hobby. Something I love." She looks at the Kitsuki. "Our duty to our lord is to get the job done, not to outperform everyone in the process. Not to be perfect, but effective."

Ichitaiyo gives a long and weary sigh.

What if your Lord simply hated you for existing?

"I agree. Completely agree." The fixer sighed with some weariness, letting some of that stress fade into the hot waters.

"Sometimes I feel I would like a career change, yet, I can't imagine myself doing anything but what I do."

Akito looked at Ichitaiyo, his expression thoughtful. "Maybe you're trying too hard." He suggested. "Imagination can't be forced. Maybe it'll come to you when you least expect it." He smiled. "I hope it will."

Then he took a deep breath. "Well. Bayushi-san. Kitsuki-san. I'm glad you both joined me. It's been a pleasure. But I think it's time for me to be moving along. Until we meet again."

He gave a seated bow before rising, making his way back to the main structure.
